What Mouse Does TeSeS Use?

TeSeS's mouse history

The history covers 18 periods, 17 switches and 10 different models. Seven of those models he went back to: Xtrfy M4 Wireless, ZOWIE EC2-CW, Razer Viper V3 Pro, Pulsar Xlite V3 Es, Pulsar Xlite V4 Es Medium, Razer DeathAdder V4 Pro and Razer Viper V4 Pro.

The Xtrfy M4 Wireless is his longest period: 12.0 months (1.0 years), from February 2023 to February 2024. Across its two periods it adds up to 12.5 months (1.0 years).

The Razer Viper V3 Pro appears three times, in Black and White, for 6.9 months in total. One of those stints, in April 2026, lasted about 6 days and came right before the Viper V4 Pro White.

The Viper V4 Pro White first ran from April to August 2026, for 3.8 months. He then tried the Pulsar eS FS-1 for 1.7 months and went back to the Viper V4 Pro White in October 2026.

Mousepad

TeSeS uses the Artisan Ninja FX Zero Soft Black, a 3 mm cloth pad with stitched edges. Its glide is rated control-oriented, so it favours stopping power over raw speed.

The Glide Difference X/Y is 11.2%. That is the gap in glide between the horizontal and vertical axes.

He has used Artisan pads since February 2024. Before that he used the SteelSeries QcK Heavy Black, from September 2022. The Ninja FX Zero Soft Black has been his pad since April 2026, replacing the Artisan Type-99 Soft Black, which he used from October 2024.

Mouse settings

His CS2 setup is 1600 DPI at 0.55 in-game sensitivity. That gives an eDPI of 880 and 47.2 cm/360.

The in-game polling rate is set to 1000 Hz. The Viper V4 Pro supports 8000 Hz, so the mouse can go well beyond the rate he runs.

The Viper V4 Pro White is a wireless, ambidextrous mouse. It measures 12.7 cm long, 6.4 cm wide and 4.0 cm high, and weighs 49 g. The symmetrical shape suits players who want a mouse that works the same for either hand, and the weight suits those who prefer a very light mouse.

The alternatives trade off weight and small dimensional differences:

• Razer Viper V3 Pro Black: same length, width and height, but 5 g heavier. It uses the Focus Pro 35K Optical Gen-2 sensor and Razer Optical switches. 11 pros use it now.
• ASUS ROG Harpe Ace Extreme: 2 g lighter, with the same length and width and 0.1 cm lower. It is the lightest mouse among the compared models. 1 pro uses it now.
• ASUS ROG Harpe Ace 2 Black: 1 g lighter, 0.1 cm shorter and 0.1 cm narrower, with the same height. It is the shortest and narrowest of the compared models. 2 pros use it now.

The Viper V3 Pro Black is the one to pick if you want the same footprint and don't mind the extra weight. The two ROG models suit buyers who want to shave a gram or two or go slightly smaller.
