What Mouse Does ZywOo Use?

Pulsar ZywOo The Chosen Mouse Gen.2 vs the standard model

The Gen.2 keeps the original's shape and changes the internals. According to TechPowerUp's review, the shape is unchanged and closely modeled on the VAXEE Outset AX. The weight difference between generations is about 1 g.

The changes are in the switches and the wireless hardware, as Pulsar's product page lays out:

• Switches: Huano Blue Shell Pinkdot V2 mechanical switches (80M clicks) are replaced by Pulsar 100M-click optical switches.
• Wireless: the standard 8K dongle is replaced by the Link 8K receiver. It adds dual-button hardware control for DPI, polling rate and profiles.

The Gen.2 comes in Medium (62 g) and Mini (59 g). The Medium is the version in the spec table. Pulsar's Gen.2 launch release is dated March 3, 2026.

The Outset AX link is also visible in ZywOo's own history. He used the VAXEE OUTSET AX Wireless Orange for 5.1 months, from November 2023 to April 2024.

ZywOo's mouse history

The table shows nine periods since September 2022. Before Pulsar, he went through three mice in about 15 months: the Razer Deathadder V3 Pro Black (4.3 months), the ZOWIE EC2-CW (10.1) and the VAXEE OUTSET AX Wireless Orange (5.1).

Pulsar has been the constant since April 2024. The Xlite V3 Es Black is the longest single run at 12.8 months. The Xlite V4 Es Medium lasted only 0.7 months before he moved to the signature Chosen Mouse in June 2025.

The most recent stretch has the only back-and-forth in the list. He tried the Gen.2 in March 2026 for 0.6 months and returned to the White (Gen.1) for 2.0 months. He has been on the Gen.2 since May 2026, 5.1 months and counting. That is already longer than his first spell on the Gen.1 would suggest for a mouse he keeps testing.

Grip

Pulsar describes the ZywOo The Chosen Mouse as having an ergonomic palm-grip shape. The Gen.2 launch release says it is designed for palm grip users, with a shape co-created with ZywOo.

That fits the numbers in the spec table: a 11.9 cm long, 4.4 cm tall body with the hump height that palm-grip shapes usually need. The shape also matches the VAXEE Outset AX it is modeled on.

Mousepad

His current pad is listed as The Chosen Mousepad, Pulsar's ZywOo-branded pad, with stitched edges.

The pad history is more varied than the mouse history. The 2022 pads were short stints: the VAXEE PA ZYGEN lasted 0.6 months and the GameSense Radar Purple 1.0 month. Since May 2023 every pad in the table has been an Xtrfy GP5 in a Vitality edition.

The longest run is the Xtrfy GP5 Vitality Yellow at 28.2 months, from June 2024 onward. That is far longer than any single mouse he has used.

Mouse settings

In CS2 the settings work out to 54.7 cm/360. That is a wide, arm-driven sensitivity built from a low 400 DPI and an in-game 1.9.

The listed polling rate is 1000 Hz, even though the Gen.2 supports 8000 Hz, as the spec table shows. Anyone copying his setup should note that gap and set polling to their own preference.

Should you buy ZywOo's mouse?

The Gen.2 is a released product. Pulsar sells it as part of the ZywOo The Chosen Mouse line.

It suits palm-grip users. At 62 g in the Medium size it is a light mouse. A Mini version at 59 g is available for anyone who wants a smaller option.

The Gen.1 and Gen.2 share the same shape, so the choice comes down to hardware:

• Gen.2: 100M-click optical switches, and the Link 8K receiver with on-device buttons for DPI, polling rate and profiles.
• Gen.1: Huano Blue Shell Pinkdot V2 mechanical switches (80M clicks) and the standard 8K dongle.

Since the shape is closely modeled on the VAXEE Outset AX, per TechPowerUp, that mouse is the other reference point for the form factor.
