Mousepad
XANTARES currently uses the Fantech Strikepad, which has stitched edges. He switched to it in October 2026.
Before that he used the Logitech G640 Original for 48.8 months, starting in September 2022. That is almost exactly the time he has spent on the FK1-C, so the mouse and pad stayed unchanged for four years. The Strikepad is only the second pad in this setup.
Mouse settings
At 400 DPI and 2.3 in-game sensitivity, his eDPI is 920. That works out to 45.2 cm/360, so a full turn takes about 45 cm of pad travel. He needs a lot of pad space for this, which fits a pad change that is recent and a mouse that has not changed in years.
The mouse runs at 1000 Hz, the maximum polling rate of the FK1-C. The sensor is a PMW 3360, and the 400 DPI setting is a native step for it.
His zoom sensitivity is 1.1, and his Windows sensitivity is 6.

Should you buy XANTARES's mouse?
The FK1-C is available to buy. It is an ambidextrous wired mouse, 12.9 cm long, 6.3 cm wide and 3.9 cm tall, and it weighs 77 g. The shape suits players who want a compact, fairly low body with symmetrical sides. The wired connection means there is no battery to manage.
The alternatives trade weight, size and connection against the FK1-C:
- ZOWIE FK1+-B Divina Pink: the same PMW 3360 sensor and wired connection, but 9 g heavier. It is 0.1 cm shorter, 0.1 cm narrower and 0.1 cm lower, so the shape is nearly identical. One pro uses it now.
- Razer Viper V3 Pro Black: 23 g lighter at 54 g, wireless, with an 8000 Hz polling rate. It is 0.19 cm shorter, 0.09 cm wider and 0.09 cm taller. Eight pros use it now.
- Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2 Black: 18 g lighter at 59 g, wireless. It is 0.48 cm shorter, 0.24 cm narrower and 0.06 cm taller, so it is the smallest of the three. Ten pros use it now.
If the FK1-C shape works for you and you want to stay wired, the FK1+-B is the closest option. If you want less weight and a wireless connection, the Viper V3 Pro keeps the dimensions closest to the FK1-C.
