What Mouse Does s1mple Use?

s1mple's mouse history

Four periods and three switches since September 2022, and every model is a Logitech. The Superlight Red is the longest single period at 21.5 months (1.8 years), from September 2022 to June 2024.

The Superlight 2 Black followed and ran until March 2026, a period of 20.8 months (1.7 years).

The odd entry is the G Pro X2 SUPERSTRIKE Lunar Eclipse, used for about 18 days between March and April 2026. On April 4, 2026 he moved from it to the Superlight 2 Cyan, which he has now used for 6.6 months.

Mousepad

He plays on the SteelSeries QcK Performance Speed, a cloth pad with stitched edges and a 3.5 mm thickness. He has used it since January 2026, which is 9.2 months so far.

It is not his first stretch on the model. He used it from May 2025 to December 2025 (6.7 months), then spent one month on the SteelSeries QcK Heavy Black before going back to it.

Before May 2025 the pad history is more varied: the Hator It’s nice to be s1mple appears in several periods, the longest 11.9 months from April 2024 to April 2025. Logitech G640, G705 and G740 pads fill the gaps.

Mouse settings

In CS2 he plays at 400 DPI with 3.09 in-game sensitivity. That gives an eDPI of 1236 and 33.6 cm/360, so a full turn takes a bit over a third of a metre of pad. That is a good fit for the 42 × 49 cm cloth surface he uses.

The mouse is rated for 2000 Hz polling, but his Hz setting is 1000. Windows sensitivity is 6 and zoom sensitivity is 1.

Should you buy s1mple's mouse?

The Superlight 2 Cyan is a released model and can be bought. It is a wireless, ambidextrous mouse with a HERO 25K sensor, 2000 Hz polling and a weight of 59 g. Its dimensions are 12.42 cm long, 6.06 cm wide and 3.96 cm tall. The symmetrical, fairly low shape suits players who want a light, neutral mouse without side contours.

The alternatives trade off weight, size and internals:

• Logitech G Pro X Superlight Black: the same length, width and height, but 3 g heavier. It has the older HERO sensor and Omron switches, and polling goes up to 1000 Hz. 5 pros use it now.
• Logitech G Pro X2 SUPERSTRIKE Lunar Eclipse: 2 g heavier, 0.62 cm shorter, 0.14 cm wider and 0.06 cm lower. It has the HERO 2 sensor, Logitech HITS switches and polling up to 8000 Hz. 15 pros use it now.
• ZOWIE U2-DW Black: 1 g heavier, 0.12 cm shorter, 0.26 cm narrower and 0.16 cm lower. It has the PAW3950 sensor and polling up to 4000 Hz. 3 pros use it now.

The Superlight Black keeps the exact footprint. The ZOWIE is the narrowest option. The SUPERSTRIKE is the one with the highest polling ceiling.
