What Mouse Does NiKo Use?

NiKo's mouse history

The history runs from September 2022 and contains 28 periods, 27 switches and 14 different models. Most of them are short stints.

The longest single period is the Razer DeathAdder V4 Pro NiKo Edition, February 2026 to October 2026, at 7.6 months. The DeathAdder V4 Pro White before it ran from July 2025 to February 2026, 6.7 months.

Razer's DeathAdder line dominates the later years. The DeathAdder V3 Pro Faker Edition has 5 periods and 9.0 months in total, and he went back to it 4 times. The DeathAdder V4 Pro Black has 3 periods and 7.5 months in total, with 2 returns.

The Razer Viper V3 Pro White adds 6.0 months over 2 periods, the longest of the earlier Viper era (April to October 2024 is the biggest block at 5.9 months). In 2022 and 2023 the rotation was wider: ZOWIE S2-C, Logitech G Pro X Superlight, VAXEE XE Wireless and the Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro White all appear. Several models were tried once and dropped, among them the VAXEE OUTSET AX Wireless White (about 3 days), the VAXEE ZYGEN NP-01 Wireless Pink (about 6 days) and the Pulsar Xlite V3 Es Red (1.5 months).

The latest move is from the DeathAdder V4 Pro NiKo Edition to the Razer Viper V4 Pro White, around October 2026. That period is about 18 days old. Razer's March 24, 2026 announcement of the Viper V4 Pro shows NiKo at Razer's design studio.

Mousepad

The current pad is the Artisan Ninja FX Zero Soft Black, in use since April 2026 (5.9 months).

It is a thin 3 mm cloth pad with stitched edges. Artisan's glide rating is control-oriented, backed by a static friction of 41.3 and a dynamic friction of 2.51. In practice that means more resistance at the start and end of a swipe than on a speed pad. The glide difference between the X and Y axes is 11.2%.

The Ninja FX Zero is the constant in his pad history. The XSoft version carried him from August 2023 to June 2024 (10.2 months) and again from August 2025 to March 2026 (6.8 months). Other pads came and went: SteelSeries QcK Heavy, VAXEE PA and PB, Artisan Type-99 and Key-83.

The Razer Gigantus V2 Pro NiKo Edition appears in March 2026 for about 0.3 months. Razer's March 2026 release says he chose that mat for his collection.

Mouse settings

In CS2 the settings work out to 64.9 cm/360. A full turn needs roughly 65 cm of pad travel, which is the kind of distance that suits a wide, steady swipe.

The mouse reports at 2000 Hz even though the Viper V4 Pro supports 8000 Hz. DPI is set to 800 on a sensor that goes up to 50000, so the setup uses a small part of what the hardware offers.

Zoom sensitivity is 1 and Windows sensitivity is 6.

Should you buy NiKo's mouse?

The Viper V4 Pro White is on sale, so it can be bought. The shape is ambidextrous and symmetrical, and the body is 12.7 cm long, 6.4 cm wide and 4.0 cm high. At 49 g it is a wireless mouse with no left or right bias in its shape. It suits players who want a symmetrical, lightweight mouse and are comfortable with a wireless setup.

Alternatives trade a few details:

• Razer Viper V3 Pro Black: same length, width and height, but 5 g heavier. It has the Focus Pro 35K Optical Gen-2 sensor and Razer Optical switches. 8 pros use it right now.
• ASUS ROG Harpe Ace Extreme: 2 g lighter and 0.1 cm lower, with the same length and width. ROG AimPoint sensor and optical switches. 1 pro uses it right now.
• ASUS ROG Harpe Ace 2 Black: 1 g lighter, 0.1 cm shorter and 0.1 cm narrower, with the same height. ROG AimPoint sensor and optical switches. 1 pro uses it right now.

All three alternatives are ambidextrous, wireless and support 8000 Hz polling. The choice comes down to a small weight difference and a few millimetres of shape.
