What Mouse Does ScreaM Use?

The history runs from September 2022 to now: 17 periods, 16 switches and 10 different models. The longest single stretch is the Finalmouse Ultralight X Medium at 9.4 months, from October 2024 to July 2025.

The first year is a rotation. The Finalmouse Classic Ergo 2, Razer Deathadder V3 Pro and Logitech G Pro X Superlight Black trade places, and some stints are very short: the Superlight lasted about 9 days, one Deathadder V3 Pro Black stint about 12 days. The Classic Ergo 2 is the constant. It accounts for 5 periods and 13.8 months (1.2 years) in total, and he returned to it 4 times.

Since October 2024 the history is mostly one family. It goes from the Ultralight X Medium to the Prophecy ScreaM Medium (2.7 months), the Prophecy ScreaM Classic (7.8 months) and the Frostlord Classic (4.5 months). The latest move is to the Starlight X Nightfall in October 2026.

Mousepad

ScreaM plays on the Artisan Shidenkai V2 XSoft Snow White, in use since January 2026 (8.8 months). It is a 49 x 42 cm hybrid pad, 4 mm thick, with stitched edges. That is a large surface for a 38 g mouse.

The pad history is steadier than the mouse history. The SteelSeries QcK Heavy Black covered long periods of 8.1, 11.5 and 12.3 months. The Artisan line first appeared in June 2024, and the Shidenkai V2 Black sat between the QcK Heavy and the current Snow White.

Mouse settings

CS2 runs at 400 DPI with 2.35 in-game sensitivity, which works out to 44.2 cm/360. VALORANT uses the same 400 DPI with 0.785 sensitivity and comes to 41.6 cm/360.

Both games list 4000 Hz, while the Starlight X Nightfall supports polling up to 8000. The 400 DPI setting sits well inside the mouse's 100-25000 range. Windows sensitivity is 6 in both games.

Should you buy ScreaM's mouse?

The Starlight X Nightfall is an ambidextrous wireless mouse, 12.4 cm long, 5.9 cm wide and 3.9 cm tall, weighing 38 g. It has the Finalsensor, Huano button switches and 8000 Hz polling. The shape is symmetrical and the body is mid-sized, so it suits players who want a low-weight mouse without a sculpted side profile.

The alternatives trade small differences in size and weight:

• Finalmouse Ultralight X Large: 1 g lighter, 0.2 cm longer, same width, 0.1 cm lower. It uses optical switches, and 1 pro currently uses it.
• Finalmouse Ultralight X Sakura: the same dimensions and weight differences as the Large, with optical switches. 1 pro currently uses it.
• Lamzu Maya X Black: 9 g heavier, same length, 0.2 cm narrower, 0.1 cm taller. It has the PAW3950 sensor and optical switches, and 2 pros currently use it.

The two Finalmouse options are nearly the same mouse in weight and size. The Lamzu is the one for players who want a narrower body and can accept the extra 9 g.
