What Mouse Does Twistzz Use?

Twistzz's mouse history

The history runs from September 2022 to now: 20 periods, 19 switches, 16 different models.

The longest single period is the Logitech G Pro X Superlight Red at 11.6 months, from September 2022 to August 2023. He later returned to it for a second stint. Across both, it adds up to 14.1 months (1.2 years).

Autumn 2023 is the most restless stretch. The Razer Deathadder V3 Pro Black lasted about 15 days, the Razer Viper V3 Hyperspeed about 12 days, the ZOWIE EC2-CW about 3 days and the ZOWIE U2 about 15 days. The Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2 Magenta followed for 2.8 months.

The Razer Viper V3 Pro White (May to December 2024, 7.1 months) is one of the longer stints. Three Lamzu Maya X variants followed in 2025, and the Maya X White lasted only about 3 days.

The Endgame Gear XM2w White ran 2.0 months. Its 4k v2 version then ran 5.1 months, until March 2026. The Razer Viper V4 Pro White has been in use for 6.9 months.

Mousepad

The current pad is the Corsair MM Pro Control, in use since October 2026. It replaced the Artisan Ninja FX Zero Soft Black, which he used for 8.3 months from February 2026.

The Corsair is a cloth pad with an overall Control glide. Static friction is high, so the mouse takes a little force to start moving, while dynamic friction is medium. Thickness is 4 mm with mid-firm foam and stitched edges. The glide difference between the X and Y axes is 19%.

His pad history before this is mostly Artisan, with ZOWIE, SteelSeries and VAXEE pads earlier.

Mouse settings

In CS2 he runs 400 DPI at 1.59 in-game sensitivity, an eDPI of 636. That works out to 65.4 cm per 360°.

A full turn at 65.4 cm is longer than either side of his 49 × 40 cm pad, so large turns mean lifting and repositioning the mouse.

The Viper V4 Pro supports 8000 Hz polling, but his CS2 setting is 2000 Hz. The 400 DPI setting sits well inside the sensor's 100 to 50000 range.

Should you buy Twistzz's mouse?

The Razer Viper V4 Pro White is available to buy. It is a wireless, ambidextrous mouse at 12.7 cm long, 6.4 cm wide, 4.0 cm high and 49 g. It suits anyone who wants a symmetrical shape at this size and weight.

The alternatives below keep almost the same footprint, so the main trade-offs are weight and a few millimetres:

• Razer Viper V3 Pro Black: 5 g heavier, with the same length, width and height. It has the Focus Pro 35K Optical Gen-2 sensor, and 8 pros use it now.
• ASUS ROG Harpe Ace Extreme: 2 g lighter, with the same length and width and 0.1 cm lower. It uses the ROG AimPoint sensor.
• ASUS ROG Harpe Ace 2 Black: 1 g lighter, 0.1 cm shorter and 0.1 cm narrower, with the same height.

All three are wireless, ambidextrous and support 8000 Hz polling. The choice comes down to how much weight or size difference matters to you.
