The history has three periods and two switches. The longest is the Superlight 2 White, which ran 7.7 months from September 2025 to May 2026.

The SUPERSTRIKE Lunar Eclipse followed and lasted 1.5 months, the shortest period. In July 2026 he returned to the Superlight 2, this time in Black, and has used it for 3.6 months.

Across both periods the Superlight 2 adds up to 11.3 months, against 1.5 months for the SUPERSTRIKE. He has returned to the Superlight 2 once.

Mousepad

nocries uses the SteelSeries QcK+ and has done so since September 2025, a span of 12.8 months. It was already under the Superlight 2 White and has stayed under both mice that followed.

It is a cloth pad with stitched edges and a control-oriented glide. At 2 mm it is a thin pad, and the 45 x 40 cm surface gives room for wide mouse movements.

Mouse settings

His CS2 setup is 400 DPI with in-game sensitivity 2, which gives an eDPI of 800. That works out to 52.0 cm/360, so a full turn takes just over half a metre of mouse travel.

The polling rate is 1000 Hz. The Superlight 2 supports up to 2000 Hz, so the setting sits below the mouse's maximum.

Should you buy nocries's mouse?

The Superlight 2 is an ambidextrous wireless mouse with a symmetrical shape. At 59 g, 12.42 cm long and 6.06 cm wide, it suits players who want a low-weight, medium-footprint mouse with no side-specific contours. It uses the HERO 25K sensor and LIGHTFORCE Hybrid switches.

The alternatives trade off as follows:

• Logitech G Pro X Superlight Black: same length, width and height, but 3 g heavier. It has the older HERO sensor and Omron switches, and tops out at 1000 Hz polling. 5 pros use it now.
• Logitech G Pro X2 SUPERSTRIKE Lunar Eclipse: 2 g heavier, 0.62 cm shorter, 0.14 cm wider and 0.06 cm lower. It brings the HERO 2 sensor, Logitech HITS switches and polling up to 8000 Hz. 15 pros use it now.
• ZOWIE U2-DW Black: 1 g heavier, 0.12 cm shorter, 0.26 cm narrower and 0.16 cm lower. It has the PAW3950 sensor and polling up to 4000 Hz. 3 pros use it now.

The Superlight Black keeps the exact footprint, so it is the closest in shape. The SUPERSTRIKE and the U2-DW change the dimensions slightly in different directions: the SUPERSTRIKE is wider, the U2-DW narrower.
