What Mouse Does MrSavage Use?

MrSavage's mouse history

Three mice in three consecutive periods: two switches, no returns to an old model.

He started on the Roccat Kone Pro Air in September 2022 and used it for 8.8 months. In June 2023 he moved to the Logitech G Pro X Superlight Black, which lasted 10.2 months.

In April 2024 he went from the original Superlight to the Superlight 2. It is by far his longest period: 30.4 months (2.5 years) and still running. That is more than the first two mice combined.

Mousepad

MrSavage plays on the Arcaloot Crimson Shadow, a square 50 x 50 cm cloth pad with stitched edges and 4 mm thickness. He has used it since August 2026.

The pad before it, the GameSense Radar Benjyfishy, stayed under his mouse for 35.8 months, from September 2023 to August 2026. Before that came the ROCCAT Sense Vital Force XXL for 11.9 months.

The current pad is the newest part of the setup. The mouse has stayed the same for 30.4 months, while the pad has changed three times since September 2022.

Mouse settings

He runs 800 DPI at a 1000 Hz polling rate. The Superlight 2 supports up to 2000 Hz, so the polling rate is not set to the mouse's maximum.

X and Y sensitivity are identical at 9.1%, so horizontal and vertical movement scale the same. Targeting and scope sensitivity share one value, 49.0%, and building and editing sensitivity both sit at 100.0%.

Should you buy MrSavage's mouse?

The Superlight 2 is an ambidextrous wireless mouse, 12.42 cm long, 6.06 cm wide and 3.96 cm high, at 59 g. It suits players who want a low-weight, symmetrical shape of moderate length. It uses the HERO 25K sensor and LIGHTFORCE Hybrid switches rated at 98.4 g button force.

The alternatives trade off weight, size and internals:

• Logitech G Pro X Superlight Black has the same length, width and height, but is 3 g heavier. It has Omron switches at 65g button force and the older HERO sensor. 5 pros use it now.
• Logitech G Pro X2 SUPERSTRIKE Lunar Eclipse is 2 g heavier, 0.62 cm shorter, 0.14 cm wider and 0.06 cm lower. It has the HERO 2 sensor, Logitech HITS switches and polling rates up to 8000 Hz. 15 pros use it now.
• ZOWIE U2-DW Black is 1 g heavier, 0.12 cm shorter, 0.26 cm narrower and 0.16 cm lower. It has the PAW3950 sensor and Huano switches. 3 pros use it now.

For the same footprint as MrSavage's mouse, the original Superlight is the match. For a shorter, slightly wider body, look at the SUPERSTRIKE. For a narrower, lower shape, look at the ZOWIE U2-DW.
