What Mouse Does ErycTriceps Use?

ErycTriceps's mouse history

The history has 10 periods and 9 switches, each on a different model. He has not returned to any of them. It starts in September 2022 with the Logitech G Pro X Superlight White (6.1 months).

The longest stay is the Lamzu Maya Black, from December 2024 to February 2026: 13.8 months (1.2 years). The Lamzu Atlantis Mini comes next at 12.8 months (1.1 years).

Since February 2026 the pace has picked up. The Endgame Gear XM2w 4k v2 White lasted about 15 days. The Pulsar X2 CrazyLight followed for 3.7 months, then the Logitech G Pro X2 SUPERSTRIKE Lunar Eclipse for 1.5 months.

August 2026 brought two very short stints: the Lamzu Maya X Champion Edition Purple Shadow (about 9 days) and the Pulsar X2N Crazylight Medium (about 12 days). The Superlight 2 Black has now lasted 1.9 months, which makes it longer than all but five of his earlier stays.

Mousepad

His current pad is the Pulsar x LGG Hyperion Soft, in use since August 2026 (2.3 months). It is a cloth pad with stitched edges and a 4mm thickness.

It replaced the Pulsar x LGG Saturn Pro Black, which he used from December 2024 to August 2026 (19.7 months). That is the longest stay of any pad in his history. The pad changed in the same month as the mouse.

Mouse settings

In CS2 he runs 1600 DPI at 0.575 in-game sensitivity. That gives an eDPI of 920 and 45.2 cm/360. Polling is set to 1000 Hz, although the Superlight 2 also offers 2000 Hz.

VALORANT uses the same 1600 DPI with a lower in-game value of 0.14. That is an eDPI of 224 and 58.3 cm/360. Windows sensitivity is 6 in both games.

Fortnite is the outlier at 400 DPI with 6.5% X and Y sensitivity, also at 1000 Hz.

Should you buy ErycTriceps's mouse?

The Superlight 2 Black is an ambidextrous wireless mouse that weighs 59g and measures 12.42 cm long, 6.06 cm wide and 3.96 cm high. It uses the HERO 25K sensor and LIGHTFORCE Hybrid switches. The shape is symmetrical and the profile is low, so it suits players who want a light, compact mouse without a pronounced ergonomic hump.

The alternatives trade off as follows:

• Logitech G Pro X Superlight Black has the same length, width and height but is 3 g heavier. It uses the older HERO sensor and Omron switches. 5 pros use it now.
• Logitech G Pro X2 SUPERSTRIKE Lunar Eclipse is 2 g heavier, 0.62 cm shorter, 0.14 cm wider and 0.06 cm lower. It has HERO 2, Logitech HITS switches and polling up to 8000 Hz. 15 pros use it now.
• ZOWIE U2-DW Black is 1 g heavier, 0.12 cm shorter, 0.26 cm narrower and 0.16 cm lower. It has the PAW3950 sensor, Huano switches and polling up to 4000 Hz. 3 pros use it now.

For a near-identical shape, the Superlight Black is the closest match. If you want a shorter mouse, the SUPERSTRIKE and the ZOWIE both trade length for a little extra weight. The ZOWIE is also the narrowest of the three.
