What Mouse Does aspas Use?

The table shows two phases. From September 2022 to March 2023 he changed mouse almost every month, moving between the Logitech G403 HERO (three separate spells), Razer Deathadder V3 Pro Black, Logitech G Pro X Superlight Black and VAXEE XE Orange. The longest run in that phase was 4.1 months on the Superlight Black.

Since November 2023 he has stayed on the Superlight 2 line, with one exception. The Superlight 2 Magenta ran 3.2 months, and the ZOWIE U2 took over for 3.8 months in 2024. Then came the Superlight 2 White for 11.3 months, a 2.1-month ZOWIE U2-DW Black spell in May 2025, and a return to the Superlight 2 White.

The latest change is from the Superlight 2 White to the Superlight 2 Black in July 2026. The model stays the same and only the colour changes. He has gone back to the Superlight 2 after every other mouse he tried since late 2023.

The specs table shows why the model suits low-weight preferences. At 59g it is 3g lighter than the original Superlight, with identical outer dimensions (12.42 x 6.06 x 3.96 cm). It uses the HERO 25K sensor and tops out at 2000 Hz polling.

Mousepad

The pad history is as restless as the mouse history. He currently uses the SteelSeries QcK Large Black, a 2 mm cloth pad with unstitched edges, in use since July 2026. That is the same month he changed to the Superlight 2 Black.

Two names keep coming back. The Artisan Ninja FX Zero Soft Black appears in three long spells: 4.8 months in 2022-23, 11.8 months through 2024, and 8.2 months until April 2026. The VAXEE PA O22 returns four times, usually for short periods.

Before the QcK he used the VAXEE PA Black for 3.1 months. The move to the QcK is a switch from a VAXEE pad to a classic cloth pad.

Mouse settings

The settings table shows a low-sensitivity setup. 800 DPI at 0.4 in-game gives 320 eDPI and 40.8 cm per 360°. A full turn takes about 41 cm of mouse travel, roughly the length of his 40 x 45 cm pad.

Polling is set to 1000 Hz, although the Superlight 2 supports up to 2000 Hz. Raw Input Buffer is on.

Scoped and ADS sensitivity are both 1, so the multiplier does not change when aiming down sights.

Should you buy aspas's mouse?

The Superlight 2 is an ambidextrous shape, symmetrical with no ergonomic sculpting. It suits players who want a low-profile, light wireless mouse and are comfortable with a flat, even body. Its 59g weight and the wide 100-32000 DPI range matter less than that shape, which works for several grip styles.

The alternatives trade off differently:

• Logitech G Pro X Superlight Black: the same footprint, but 3g heavier (62g) with a HERO sensor, Omron switches and a lighter button force (65g versus 98.4g). Polling stops at 1000 Hz.
• Logitech G Pro X2 SUPERSTRIKE: shorter (11.8 cm) and 2g heavier (61g), with polling up to 8000 Hz. Logitech HITS switches replace the Superlight 2's LIGHTFORCE Hybrid. 15 pros use it now, the most of the three alternatives.
• ZOWIE U2-DW Black: narrower (5.8 cm wide) at 60g. aspas used it from May to July 2025 before returning to the Superlight 2.
