What Mouse Does Faide Use?

Faide's mouse history

Six periods, five switches, four different models. The Logitech G Pro X Superlight Black is his longest stretch at 25.3 months (2.1 years), from September 2022 to October 2024.

The Superlight 2 Black is the model he keeps coming back to. He has had it in three separate periods and returned to it twice, for 19.8 months (1.7 years) in total.

The detours were short. The Finalmouse Ultralight X Large lasted 3.6 months, and the Logitech G Pro X2 SUPERSTRIKE Lunar Eclipse about 21 days. The last switch, on June 1, 2026, took him from the SUPERSTRIKE back to the Superlight 2 Black, which he has used for 4.7 months since.

Mousepad

He plays on the Odin Gaming Andromeda Pro, a stitched-edge cloth pad 4 mm thick. He has used it since June 2026, the same month he went back to the Superlight 2.

It follows the HyperX Fury S Pro, which he used for 8.5 months. Before that he moved between the Logitech G640 Original, the HyperX Pulsefire Mat and the ZOWIE G-SR-SE Rouge. The G640 Original lasted 19.0 months, and the Pulsefire Mat took two separate periods.

Mouse settings

In Apex Legends he runs 1700 DPI at 0.8 in-game sensitivity. That gives an eDPI of 1360 and 30.6 cm/360.

The polling rate is 1000 Hz, although the Superlight 2 also offers 2000 Hz. Acceleration is off. The ADS multiplier is 1 and per-optic ADS sensitivity is off, so every optic uses the same ADS multiplier.

Should you buy Faide's mouse?

The Superlight 2 Black is an ambidextrous wireless mouse that weighs 59 g and measures 12.42 cm long, 6.06 cm wide and 3.96 cm high. It suits players who want a low, symmetrical shape and a light body. It uses the HERO 25K sensor and LIGHTFORCE Hybrid switches.

The alternatives trade off weight, footprint and features:

• Logitech G Pro X Superlight Black: 3 g heavier, with the same length, width and height. It has the older HERO sensor and Omron switches. 5 pros use it now.
• Logitech G Pro X2 SUPERSTRIKE Lunar Eclipse: 2 g heavier, 0.62 cm shorter, 0.14 cm wider and 0.06 cm lower. It has the HERO 2 sensor, Logitech HITS switches and polling up to 8000 Hz. 15 pros use it now.
• ZOWIE U2-DW Black: 1 g heavier, 0.12 cm shorter, 0.26 cm narrower and 0.16 cm lower. It has the PAW3950 sensor and polling up to 4000 Hz. 3 pros use it now.

The Superlight 2 is the choice if you want the shape Faide has returned to most often. The ZOWIE is the one to look at for a narrower body. The SUPERSTRIKE is the one for a shorter, wider mouse with higher polling rates.
