Should you buy UdoTan's mouse?
The Viper V4 Pro is an ambidextrous wireless mouse measuring 12.7 cm long, 6.4 cm wide and 4.0 cm high, and weighing 49 g. It suits players who want a low-weight mouse with a symmetrical shape and an 8000 Hz polling option.
The alternatives trade off in small steps:
- Razer Viper V3 Pro Black: same length, width and height, but 5 g heavier. It has the same ambidextrous shape and is used by 11 pros now.
- ASUS ROG Harpe Ace Extreme: 2 g lighter and 0.1 cm lower, with the same length and width. 1 pro uses it now.
- ASUS ROG Harpe Ace 2 Black: 1 g lighter, 0.1 cm shorter and 0.1 cm narrower, with the same height. 2 pros use it now.
All three are wireless, ambidextrous and support 8000 Hz polling, so the choice comes down to weight and the sensor and switch platform: Razer's optical switches and Focus Pro sensors, or ASUS's optical switches and AimPoint sensor.
