What Mouse Does REZ Use?

REZ's mouse history

REZ's history covers 7 periods, 6 switches and 5 different models. Two of those models he went back to: the Logitech G Pro X Superlight and the Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2.

The Superlight line is the constant. It starts with the Superlight White in September 2022 and returns as the Superlight Black in May 2023. Across both colours it adds up to 12.3 months (1.0 years). The Superlight 2 follows the same pattern. The Magenta version ran from February 2024 to November 2024, and the White version has been in use since February 2025.

The device he uses now is his longest-used one. The longest earlier period is the Superlight 2 Magenta at 9.6 months. The VAXEE XE Wireless, ZOWIE U2 and ZOWIE FK2-DW were shorter stops of 2.0, 2.3 and 2.4 months. After the FK2-DW he returned to the Superlight 2.

Mousepad

REZ plays on the ZOWIE G-SR-SE ROUGE II, which he has used since October 2025. Before it came the SteelSeries QcK Heavy Black.

The ROUGE II is a cloth pad with a Control glide rating, firm foam and a 3.5 mm thickness. Static friction is high and dynamic friction is medium, so the surface leans toward stopping power over slide. The X/Y glide difference is 8.1%, and the edges are not stitched.

Mouse settings

In CS2 REZ runs 800 DPI at 0.95 in-game sensitivity, which gives 760 eDPI and 54.7 cm/360. That is the mouse travel needed for one full turn.

The 2000 Hz polling rate matches the maximum of the Superlight 2. The 800 DPI setting sits well inside the sensor's 100-32000 range. Windows sensitivity is at 6 and zoom sensitivity at 0.8.

Should you buy REZ's mouse?

The Superlight 2 White is a wireless, ambidextrous mouse. It weighs 59 g and measures 12.42 cm long, 6.06 cm wide and 3.96 cm high. It suits players who want a very light, low-profile mouse with a symmetrical shape. It uses the HERO 25K sensor, LIGHTFORCE Hybrid switches and 2000 Hz polling.

Alternatives trade off weight, size and features:

• Logitech G Pro X Superlight Black has the same length, width and height, but it is 3 g heavier. It has an older HERO sensor, Omron switches and polling up to 1000 Hz. 14 pros use it now.
• ZOWIE U2-DW Black is 1 g heavier, 0.12 cm shorter, 0.26 cm narrower and 0.16 cm lower. It is the shortest and narrowest of the compared mice, and it supports polling up to 4000 Hz. 6 pros use it now.
• Razer Viper V2 Pro Black matches the 59 g weight, so the two tie as the lightest here. It is 0.15 cm longer, 0.08 cm wider and 0.19 cm lower, and it is the lowest of the compared mice. It supports polling up to 4000 Hz. 1 pro uses it now.

Pick the Superlight Black for the same shell at a slightly higher weight. Pick the U2-DW for a smaller footprint. Pick the Viper V2 Pro for a lower, slightly longer body at equal weight.
