Shao's history covers 5 periods, 4 switches and 4 different models since September 2022.

The Xtrfy M4 Wireless is the one model he returned to. He used it first, then again as the Xtrfy M4 Wireless White from February to April 2024. That second stint lasted 1.4 months. Across both periods he spent 8.6 months on it.

The Logitech G Pro X Superlight Magenta ran for 10.4 months, from April 2023 to February 2024. The longest single period is the Razer Deathadder V3 Pro Black: 16.3 months (1.4 years), from April 2024 to August 2025.

In August 2025 he moved to the Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2 White, which he has used since then. It is his second Superlight-series mouse, after the Superlight Magenta.

Mousepad

Shao plays on the Artisan Ninja FX Zero Soft Black, which he has used since July 2024. The same pad stayed in place when he changed from the Deathadder V3 Pro to the Superlight 2 in August 2025.

It is a cloth pad with a 3 mm thickness and stitched edges. Its glide is rated control-oriented, with a static friction of 41.3 and a dynamic friction of 2.51. The X/Y glide difference is 11.2%, so horizontal and vertical glide are close but not identical.

Mouse settings

In VALORANT Shao runs 800 DPI with an in-game sensitivity of 0.35. That gives an eDPI of 280 and 46.7 cm/360.

Scoped and ADS sensitivity are both 1. Windows sensitivity is 5, and Raw Input Buffer is off.

The polling rate in his settings is 1000 Hz, although the Superlight 2 supports 2000.

Should you buy Shao's mouse?

The Superlight 2 is available to buy. It is an ambidextrous wireless mouse at 59 g, 12.42 cm long, 6.06 cm wide and 3.96 cm high. It suits players who want a low-weight, symmetrical shape and a polling rate of up to 2000.
