What Mouse Does sinatraa Use?

sinatraa's mouse history

Two mice, one switch. The Logitech G Pro X Superlight White ran from September 2022 to April 2024, which is 19.3 months (1.6 years). The Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2 White took over in April 2024.

The Superlight 2 is the longer of the two periods at 30.0 months (2.5 years), and that period is still running. Both mice are white Logitech G Pro X Superlight models, so the move was a step to the next generation rather than a change of brand.

Mousepad

The pad is the Logitech G640 Original, in use since September 2022. That is the same month the first Superlight period began, so it has stayed under both mice.

It is a cloth pad with stitched edges, 3 mm thick, with a firm foam base. Glide, static friction and dynamic friction are all rated medium, so the surface sits in the middle rather than at an extreme of speed or control.

At 45.5 cm long, the pad is longer than the 42.2 cm a full 360° turn takes in VALORANT.

Mouse settings

DPI is 800 in all three games listed: VALORANT, Overwatch and Marvel Rivals. Only the in-game sensitivity changes.

In VALORANT, 800 DPI at 0.387 gives an eDPI of 309.60, or 42.2 cm/360. Overwatch is much faster at 19.2 cm/360, with an eDPI of 7200 at 9.00 sensitivity. Marvel Rivals uses 2.25 on both axes for an eDPI of 1800.

The Superlight 2 supports polling rates up to 2000 Hz. The listed settings use 1000 Hz in VALORANT and Marvel Rivals, and 500 Hz in Overwatch. VALORANT also has Raw Input Buffer switched on.

Should you buy sinatraa's mouse?

The Superlight 2 is an ambidextrous wireless mouse at 59 g, 12.42 cm long, 6.06 cm wide and 3.96 cm high. It suits players who want a low-weight, symmetrical shape of medium length. It has a HERO 25K sensor, LIGHTFORCE Hybrid switches and polling up to 2000 Hz. It is available to buy.

The alternatives trade off weight, dimensions and polling range:

• Logitech G Pro X Superlight Black: 3 g heavier, with the same length, width and height. It is the original Superlight with a HERO sensor and Omron switches, and 5 pros use it now. It fits if you want the same shape without the newer sensor and switches.
• Logitech G Pro X2 SUPERSTRIKE Lunar Eclipse: 2 g heavier, 0.62 cm shorter, 0.14 cm wider and 0.06 cm lower. It adds polling up to 8000 Hz, a HERO 2 sensor and Logitech HITS switches, and 15 pros use it now. It fits if you want a slightly shorter, wider body and a higher polling ceiling.
• ZOWIE U2-DW Black: 1 g heavier, 0.12 cm shorter, 0.26 cm narrower and 0.16 cm lower. It is the narrowest and lowest of the three, with polling up to 4000 Hz, and 3 pros use it now. It fits if you want a slimmer, lower profile.
