What Mouse Does Stewie2k Use?

Stewie2k's mouse history

The history covers 13 periods, 12 switches and 10 different models. He went back to three of them: the Endgame Gear XM1R, the Razer Viper V3 Pro and the VAXEE XE-S Wireless.

The XM1R return was brief. He used it from March 2023, moved to the ASUS ROG Harpe Ace, then came back to the XM1R for about 9 days in September 2023 before the Endgame Gear XM2we. That puts the XM1R at 3.8 months in total across two periods.

The Viper V3 Pro is the other repeat. He used the White version from June 2024 and the Black version from February 2025, for 5.7 months in total across two periods. The VAXEE XE-S Wireless adds up to 5.8 months across two periods, in Yellow and then Black.

VAXEE models fill most of the stretch from October 2024 to April 2026. The exception is the short Viper V3 Pro Black period in February 2025.

His longest period is the VAXEE XE V2 Lake Green, at 6.7 months, ending in April 2026. The Viper V4 Pro Black followed it, and he has used it since April 2026.

Mousepad

He plays on the SteelSeries QcK Heavy Black, a cloth pad with firm foam. It is 6 mm thick and measures 44.5 × 39.7 cm, with no stitched edges.

The surface is control-oriented. Static friction is high and dynamic friction is medium, so the pad takes more force to start moving but glides at a moderate level once it does.

This pad is not new to his setup. He used it from September 2022 to May 2023, then moved through the Artisan Ninja FX Zero Soft and two Artisan Type-99 pads. He changed back to the QcK Heavy in April 2026, the same month he picked up the Viper V4 Pro.

Mouse settings

His CS2 and VALORANT sensitivities land close together in real distance: 45.2 cm/360 in CS2 and 44.1 cm/360 in VALORANT. The DPI and in-game values differ because the games scale sensitivity differently, so he runs 800 DPI in CS2 and 400 DPI in VALORANT.

Windows sensitivity is 6 in both games. The polling rate is set below the mouse's ceiling. The Viper V4 Pro supports 8000 Hz, and he runs 4000 Hz in CS2 and 1000 Hz in VALORANT. VALORANT also has Raw Input Buffer switched on.

Should you buy Stewie2k's mouse?

The Viper V4 Pro is on sale, so you can buy the same model he uses. It is a wireless, ambidextrous mouse with a symmetrical shape, 12.7 cm long, 6.4 cm wide and 4.0 cm high. At 49 g, it suits players who want a low-weight wireless mouse with a 8000 Hz polling rate.

If you want alternatives, each one trades something off:

• Razer Viper V3 Pro Black: same length, width and height, but 5 g heavier. 11 pros use it now. It has the Focus Pro 35K Optical Gen-2 sensor and 8000 Hz polling.
• ASUS ROG Harpe Ace Extreme: 2 g lighter and 0.1 cm lower, with the same length and width. It is the lightest of the models compared here.
• ASUS ROG Harpe Ace 2 Black: 1 g lighter, 0.1 cm shorter and 0.1 cm narrower, with the same height. It is the shortest and narrowest of the models compared here.

All three are wireless, ambidextrous and support 8000 Hz. The choice comes down to a few grams and a millimetre or so of shell size.
