What Mouse Does Zellsis Use?

Zellsis's mouse history

Zellsis's history has 7 periods, 6 switches and 5 different models. His longest period was on the Logitech G Pro X Superlight Black, from September 2022 to August 2024: 23.5 months (2.0 years).

The Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2 followed for 1.6 months. Since October 2024 every mouse in the history has been a Razer Viper.

The Razer Viper V3 Pro Sentinels Edition ran from March 2025 to February 2026, which is 10.6 months. The Viper V4 Pro Black replaced it in February 2026.

He then returned to two models. The Viper V3 Pro came back as the Green version for about 24 days. The Viper V4 Pro came back in July 2026, and he has used it since then. The Viper V4 Pro's earlier period lasted 4.4 months.

Razer's August 2026 blog post names the Viper V4 Pro as the mouse he mains.

Mousepad

Zellsis has played on the Razer Gigantus V2 since February 2025. It is a cloth pad measuring 45 × 40 cm, 3 mm thick, with stitched edges.

The surface has medium overall glide. Static friction is high and dynamic friction is medium, so the pad takes a little more effort to start moving than to keep moving. The foam is firm.

Before the Gigantus V2 he used several ZOWIE G-SR-SE pads (Rouge, Gris and Bi) and the Artisan Ninja FX Zero Soft Black. The last of these, the G-SR-SE Bi, ran from July 2024 to February 2025.

Mouse settings

In VALORANT he runs 800 DPI with 0.215 sensitivity, which gives an eDPI of 172 and 75.9 cm/360. In CS2 he uses 400 DPI with 1.80 sensitivity, an eDPI of 720 and 57.7 cm/360.

The Viper V4 Pro supports a polling rate of 8000 Hz, but both games are set to 1000 Hz. Windows sensitivity is 6 in both, and Raw Input Buffer is off in VALORANT.

Should you buy Zellsis's mouse?

The Razer Viper V4 Pro Black is a wireless ambidextrous mouse. It is 12.7 cm long, 6.4 cm wide and 4.0 cm tall, and weighs 49 g. It uses the Focus Pro 30K sensor, Razer Optical Gen-4 switches and 8000 Hz polling. It is on sale, so it can be bought.

It suits players who want a low-weight, symmetrical shape in this size. Anyone who prefers a shape that favours one hand should look elsewhere.

The alternatives trade off weight and dimensions:

• Razer Viper V3 Pro Black: the same length, width and height, but 5 g heavier. 11 pros use it now.
• ASUS ROG Harpe Ace Extreme: 2 g lighter, 0.1 cm lower, and the same length and width. It is the lightest of the mice compared here.
• ASUS ROG Harpe Ace 2 Black: 1 g lighter, 0.1 cm shorter and 0.1 cm narrower, with the same height. It is the shortest and narrowest of the group.

All of them are ambidextrous, wireless and support 8000 Hz polling.
