What Mouse Does sdy Use?

sdy's mouse history

Five mice, four switches, and no model he has gone back to. The path starts in September 2022 with the Finalmouse Starlight-12 Phantom, which lasted about 18 days.

The Logitech G Pro X Superlight White followed for 11.0 months, then the VAXEE XE Wireless Blue for 5.8 months.

The Razer Viper V3 Pro White is the longest period in his history at 24.2 months (2.0 years). It ended in February 2026 with the move to the Logitech G Pro X2 SUPERSTRIKE Lunar Eclipse, which he has used since then.

Mousepad

Since October 2024 sdy has played on the VAXEE PA Summer Vibes. Before it he used the VAXEE PA ZYGEN for 13.7 months.

The Summer Vibes is a cloth pad rated Control for overall glide. It combines high static friction with low dynamic friction: a bit more resistance when starting a movement, little drag once the mouse is moving. At 3.5 mm with firm foam, it is a flat, firm surface. The glide difference between the X and Y axes is 14.8%.

The edges are not stitched. The size is 47 cm by 39 cm.

Mouse settings

In CS2 sdy runs 800 DPI at a sensitivity of 1, which gives an eDPI of 800 and 52.0 cm/360. Zoom sensitivity is also 1.

The mouse is set to 4000 Hz. The G Pro X2 SUPERSTRIKE supports polling up to 8000 Hz, so the setting is below the sensor's maximum. Windows sensitivity is 6.

Should you buy sdy's mouse?

The Logitech G Pro X2 SUPERSTRIKE Lunar Eclipse is a wireless, ambidextrous mouse. It measures 11.8 cm long, 6.2 cm wide and 3.9 cm tall, and weighs 61 g. It suits players who want a compact, low-profile shape with a symmetrical body. It uses Logitech HITS button switches and the HERO 2 sensor.

The alternatives keep the same shell dimensions, so the trade-off is weight and switch type:

• Logitech G Pro X3 SUPERSTRIKE Magenta Eclipse: 2 g lighter, with the same length, width and height. Its DPI step is 100 instead of 50. 8 pros use it now.
• Logitech G Pro X3 SUPERSTRIKE Midnight Black: the same specs as the Magenta Eclipse, 2 g lighter than sdy's mouse, in a different colour. 3 pros use it now.
• Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2c Black: 10 g lighter at 51 g, with the same length, width and height. It uses LIGHTFORCE Hybrid switches instead of HITS. 1 pro uses it now.

Of the four mice compared, sdy's is the heaviest at 61 g. It ties with the others on length, width and height.
