What Mouse Does oskar Use?

Three mice, two switches, and no model he went back to.

The VAXEE OUTSET AX came first, from September 2022 to April 2024. The Razer DeathAdder Chroma followed and became his longest period: 24.4 months (2.0 years).

In April 2026 he moved to the Razer Deathadder V3 Pro Black, which he has used since then. The last two mice both carry the DeathAdder name.

Mousepad

He plays on the SteelSeries QcK Large Black, a cloth pad with a 2 mm thickness and no stitched edges. He has used it since April 2024.

The pad changed in the same month as the mouse that year. The VAXEE PA Winter 21 was his pad from September 2022 to April 2024. The QcK stayed in place when he switched mice in April 2026.

Mouse settings

In CS2 he runs 400 DPI at 3.50 in-game sensitivity, which gives an eDPI of 1400. That works out to 29.7 cm/360: a full turn takes 29.7 cm of mouse travel.

Polling is set to 1000 Hz. The V3 Pro also offers 125, 500 and 4000 Hz, so the mouse has headroom beyond what he uses. Windows sensitivity is 6 and zoom sensitivity is 0.80.

Should you buy oskar's mouse?

The Deathadder V3 Pro Black is a wireless mouse with an ergonomic shape. It weighs 63 g and measures 12.95 cm long, 6.13 cm wide and 4.21 cm high. Its buttons use Razer Optical switches with an 81 g button force. It suits players who want an ergonomic shape that is narrow for its length.

The alternatives trade size and weight against it:

• ZOWIE EC2-DW Black: 3 g lighter, 0.65 cm shorter and 0.37 cm wider, with the same height. A good fit if you want less weight and a shorter body.
• ZOWIE EC1-DW Black: the same weight and 0.05 cm shorter, but 0.77 cm wider, with the same height. It keeps the length and weight and adds width.
• Pulsar Xlite V2 Wireless: 4 g lighter, 0.71 cm shorter and 0.21 cm narrower, and 0.05 cm taller. It is the lightest of the three and the narrowest.

All three alternatives use different sensors and switches from the Razer, so the feel of the buttons will differ.
