What Mouse Does nyhrox Use?

nyhrox's mouse history

nyhrox's mouse history has two periods and one switch, across two different models.

The FinalMouse Air58 Ninja CBR is his longest earlier period at 24.2 months (2.0 years). In September 2024 he moved to the Razer Viper V3 Pro Black. It is now the longest-used device in his history, and he has used it since September 2024.

He has not gone back to an earlier model. The Viper V3 Pro is the only mouse in the list that he moved to and stayed with.

Mousepad

nyhrox plays on the Razer Gigantus V2 XXL, with stitched edges. He has used it since September 2024.

The pad changed in the same month as the mouse. In September 2024 he moved from the SteelSeries QcK Heavy Black to the Gigantus V2 XXL, the same month he picked up the Viper V3 Pro.

Mouse settings

The Fortnite settings show two things: how the mouse is configured, and how sensitivity is split across modes.

The mouse is set to 800 DPI and 1000 Hz in-game. The Viper V3 Pro supports 8000 Hz polling, so the polling rate in use is below what the hardware allows.

X and Y sensitivity are identical at 6.0%, so both axes move at the same speed. Targeting and scope sensitivity are both 37.5%. These are multipliers of the X/Y value, not separate speeds, so aiming down sights and scoping run slower than the base sensitivity.

Should you buy nyhrox's mouse?

The Razer Viper V3 Pro Black is available to buy. It is an ambidextrous, wireless mouse that is 12.71 cm long, 6.39 cm wide and 3.99 cm high, and it weighs 54 g. That shape suits players who want a symmetrical, low-profile body with no side-specific contours.

If weight is the main concern, all three alternatives are lighter. They trade off in different ways:

• Razer Viper V4 Pro Black: 5 g lighter, with the same length, width and height. Of the three, it is the closest in size to his mouse. It is used by 10 pros right now.
• ASUS ROG Harpe Ace 2 Black: 6 g lighter, 0.11 cm shorter and 0.09 cm narrower, with the same height. It is the shortest and narrowest of the group. 2 pros use it now.
• ASUS ROG Harpe Ace Extreme: 7 g lighter, with the same length and width but 0.09 cm lower. It is the lightest and lowest of the four mice compared. 1 pro uses it now.

All three alternatives are wireless, ambidextrous and support 8000 Hz polling, like the Viper V3 Pro. The choice comes down to how much weight you want to drop and whether a slightly lower or shorter body matters.
