What Mouse Does nafany Use?

nafany's mouse history

Five periods, four switches, five different models. Each model appears once, so he has not gone back to any earlier mouse.

The run began in September 2022 with the Razer Viper V2 Pro Black, followed by the Razer Viper Ultimate in October 2022. In February 2023 he moved to the VAXEE XE Wireless Black, then to the ZOWIE EC2-CW in October 2023.

The longest earlier period is the VAXEE XE Wireless Black at 7.8 months. The ZOWIE EC2-CW came close at 7.0 months.

In May 2024 he switched to the Razer Viper V3 Pro White, which is his longest-used mouse. It also brought him back to Razer's Viper line after the VAXEE and ZOWIE periods.

Mousepad

Since September 2026 he has played on the SteelSeries QcK Heavy Black. Before it came the X-raypad Equate Plus V2 Kiwami Pink, which he used for 35.0 months from October 2023.

The QcK Heavy is a cloth pad with a control-oriented glide. High static friction means the mouse needs a little more force to start moving. Medium dynamic friction keeps it from gliding freely once it is in motion.

The foam is firm and the edges are not stitched. At 44.5 cm by 39.7 cm it is a full-size surface for a mouse that weighs 54 g.

Mouse settings

In CS2 he runs 800 DPI with in-game sensitivity 1, which gives an eDPI of 800. The result is 52.0 cm/360: a full turn takes 52.0 cm of mouse travel.

Zoom sensitivity is also 1, and Windows sensitivity is set to 6.

The in-game rate is 1000 Hz, even though the Viper V3 Pro supports 8000 Hz polling.

Should you buy nafany's mouse?

The Razer Viper V3 Pro White is a wireless, ambidextrous mouse. It is 12.71 cm long, 6.39 cm wide and 3.99 cm tall, and weighs 54 g. The Focus Pro 35K Optical Gen-2 sensor and Razer Optical switches are paired with 8000 Hz polling. It suits players who want a symmetrical shape in a low, compact body and do not need the lightest mouse available.

It is on sale, so there is no need to look for a substitute. The alternatives trade a lower weight for small changes in size:

• Razer Viper V4 Pro Black is 5 g lighter, with the same length, width and height. It is used by 10 pros right now.
• ASUS ROG Harpe Ace 2 Black is 6 g lighter, 0.11 cm shorter and 0.09 cm narrower, with the same height. Among the devices compared here it is the shortest and the narrowest. 2 pros use it now.
• ASUS ROG Harpe Ace Extreme is 7 g lighter, with the same length and width and 0.09 cm lower. It is the lightest and lowest of the group. 1 pro uses it now.

All three are wireless and ambidextrous with 8000 Hz polling. His Viper V3 Pro is the heaviest of the four.
