What Mouse Does MoDo Use?

MoDo's mouse history

Five periods, four switches, four different models: Logitech, Razer, Logitech again, then ZOWIE.

He started this timeline in August 2023 on the Logitech G Pro X Superlight Black and stayed on it for 11.1 months. The Superlight 2 Black followed in July 2024 and lasted only 1.5 months.

The longest run belongs to the Razer Deathadder V3 Pro Black, from September 2024 to October 2025: 13.3 months (1.1 years).

The Superlight 2 is the one model he came back to. He returned to it once, with the Magenta version from October 2025 to May 2026, and its total time across both stints is 8.8 months.

The ZOWIE U2-DW Black replaced it in May 2026 and has been in use for 4.7 months.

Mousepad

He plays on the Artisan Ninja FX Zero XSoft Orange, in use since October 2025 (12.0 months). It is a cloth pad with stitched edges and a control-oriented glide, with medium static friction and high dynamic friction. At 3.5 mm it is a thin pad.

Glide difference between the X and Y axes is 11.2%. That means horizontal and vertical swipes feel slightly different, which is worth knowing if you copy the setup.

His earlier pads were the ZOWIE G-SR, SteelSeries QcK Heavy Black and Razer Gigantus Elite. The Artisan has stayed under his hand through the switch to the U2-DW in May 2026.

Mouse settings

In CS2 he runs 800 DPI at a sensitivity of 1, which gives an eDPI of 800. A full 360° turn takes 52.0 cm of mouse travel.

The polling rate is set to 1000 Hz. The U2-DW Black supports up to 4000 Hz, so he runs it well below its maximum.

Should you buy MoDo's mouse?

The U2-DW Black is available to buy. It is a wireless, ambidextrous mouse with a PAW3950 sensor and Huano switches. It weighs 60 g and measures 12.3 cm long, 5.8 cm wide and 3.8 cm tall. The symmetrical, low shape suits anyone who wants an ambidextrous mouse with modest height and width.

The alternatives trade off as follows:

• ZOWIE U2-DW Glossy: same weight and the same length, width and height as the Black version. The difference is the surface finish. 1 pro is using it now.
• Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2 Black: 1 g lighter, 0.12 cm longer, 0.26 cm wider and 0.16 cm taller. It uses the HERO 25K sensor and LIGHTFORCE Hybrid switches. 10 pros are using it now.
• Logitech G Pro X Superlight Black: 2 g heavier, 0.12 cm longer, 0.26 cm wider and 0.16 cm taller. It uses the HERO sensor and Omron switches. 5 pros are using it now.

Pick the ZOWIE if you want the shorter, narrower body. Pick a Superlight if you prefer a slightly larger shell, or Logitech's sensor and switches.
