What Mouse Does Jame Use?

Jame's mouse history

The history runs to 7 periods, 6 switches and 5 different models since September 2022.

The longest period belongs to the Razer Deathadder V3 Pro Black: 19.2 months (1.6 years), from October 2022 to May 2024. He went back to it in December 2024 for another 4.0 months, which brings its total to 23.2 months (1.9 years).

Two stints were very short: the Logitech G Pro X Superlight Black (about 24 days) in autumn 2022 and the Razer Viper V3 Pro White (about 18 days) in May 2024.

Since May 2024 the Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2 has been the core of his setup. He used the Black version for 6.5 months, then the White version from April 2025 to June 2026 (14.0 months, 1.2 years). The G Pro X2 SUPERSTRIKE Lunar Eclipse took over in June 2026 and has run for 4.3 months.

Mousepad

Jame currently plays on a SteelSeries QcK Large Black, in use since April 2026 (6.3 months). It is a cloth pad, 2 mm thick, with no stitched edges.

Before it came the SteelSeries QcK Heavy Black, which he used for 11.1 months from May 2025. That makes the move to the Large a change within the same line.

From September 2022 to April 2025 he went through a long run of VAXEE PA pads, with one ZOWIE G-SR-SE Rouge in between (July to October 2024). The VAXEE PA FunSpark V2 was the one he came back to, first used for 10.7 months from October 2022 and again in spring 2024.

Mouse settings

Jame plays CS2 at 3200 DPI and 0.3 in-game sensitivity. That gives an eDPI of 960 and 43.3 cm/360, so a full turn needs 43.3 cm of pad travel.

The mouse reports at 2000 Hz. The G Pro X2 SUPERSTRIKE supports up to 8000 Hz, so he runs it well below its ceiling. 3200 DPI sits comfortably inside the sensor's 100-44000 range.

Zoom sensitivity is 0.92 and Windows sensitivity is 6.

Should you buy Jame's mouse?

The G Pro X2 SUPERSTRIKE is an ambidextrous wireless mouse with a symmetrical shape, 11.8 cm long, 6.2 cm wide and 3.9 cm high. At 61 g it suits players who want a light mouse without an ergonomic, handed shell. It uses a HERO 2 sensor and Logitech HITS button switches, and polls at up to 8000 Hz.

The alternatives trade weight and switch type against the same footprint:

• Logitech G Pro X3 SUPERSTRIKE (Magenta Eclipse or Midnight Black): 2 g lighter at 59 g, with identical length, width and height. It has the same sensor and switches, but DPI adjusts in steps of 100 instead of 50.
• Pulsar Susanto-X: 11 g lighter at 50 g, with the same length, width and height. It uses optical switches and polls at 8000 Hz. It is the pick if weight matters most.

All three share the same ambidextrous shape and size. The choice comes down to weight, switch type and DPI step size.
