What Mouse Does coldzera Use?

coldzera's mouse history

The history covers 8 periods across 6 different models, with 7 switches between them. Two models were returned to: the Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2 and the ZOWIE ZA13-DW.

The Superlight 2 Black is his longest earlier period at 13.6 months (1.1 years), from September 2023 to November 2024. Across both stints it adds up to 22.3 months (1.9 years). He went back to it in January 2025 for another 8.7 months.

The ZOWIE ZA13-DW has 7.8 months in total, split into two periods. Before the first one came a ZOWIE U2 that lasted about 27 days, and the first ZA13-DW stint was also about 27 days. The second ZA13-DW period, from September 2025 to April 2026, ran 6.9 months.

The Logitech G Pro X Superlight (8.4 months) and the ZOWIE ZA12-B (4.1 months) were each used once. Since April 2026 he has played the Logitech G Pro X2 SUPERSTRIKE Lunar Eclipse.

Mousepad

The pad is the Logitech G740, a cloth surface with stitched edges. At 5 mm it has a firm foam base.

It is rated control-oriented overall, with high static friction and medium dynamic friction. The glide difference between the X and Y axes is -4.90%, so horizontal and vertical glide are close to each other.

Mouse settings

In CS2 he runs 800 DPI at 1.10 in-game sensitivity, which gives an eDPI of 880 and 47.2 cm/360.

The polling rate is set to 2000 Hz. The mouse supports up to 8000 Hz, so this sits well inside its range. 800 DPI is likewise a small fraction of the sensor's 100-44000 DPI span.

The G Pro X2 SUPERSTRIKE is a wireless, ambidextrous mouse measuring 11.8 cm long, 6.2 cm wide and 3.9 cm high, and it weighs 61 g. It uses the HERO 2 sensor and Logitech HITS button switches, and polling goes up to 8000 Hz. It suits players who want a low, compact shape that is symmetrical, with no handed contours.

It is available to buy now. Among the four models compared here it is the heaviest, but the dimensions are identical across all of them.

• Logitech G Pro X3 SUPERSTRIKE Magenta Eclipse: 2 g lighter, same length, width and height. 8 pros use it now. DPI steps are 100 instead of 50.
• Logitech G Pro X3 SUPERSTRIKE Midnight Black: the same hardware and size as the Magenta Eclipse, 2 g lighter than his mouse. 3 pros use it now.
• Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2c Black: 10 g lighter, with the same length, width and height. It swaps HITS for LIGHTFORCE Hybrid switches. 1 pro uses it now. It is the lightest of the four.

All three alternatives keep the same shape and sensor. The trade-off is weight and switch type, with DPI step size also differing on the X3 models.
