What Mouse Does Snax Use?

Snax's mouse history

Snax's history covers 7 periods, 6 switches and 5 different models. The ZOWIE FK2-DW is the only model he has returned to, and he has done so twice.

His longest single period was the ZOWIE FK2-C: 17.5 months (1.5 years), starting in September 2022. Every later period was shorter. The Endgame Gear OP1 8k and the Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2 each appear once, for 4.7 and 3.0 months.

The FK2-DW Black first appears in July 2024. His earlier FK2-DW periods add up to 16.5 months (1.4 years). The Pulsar eS FS-1 lasted 1.9 months before he went back to the FK2-DW Black in April 2026.

Mousepad

Snax uses the ZOWIE G-SR-SE Bi II, a cloth pad he has used since March 2026. Before it he briefly used the ZOWIE G-TR, and earlier the ZOWIE G-SR-SE Rouge II.

The Bi II is rated medium for overall glide. Static friction is high and dynamic friction is low, so the surface takes a little more force to start moving and then glides easily. The foam is firm and the pad is 3.5 mm thick, with no stitched edges. The glide difference between the X and Y axes is 10.30%.

The pad measures 47 cm by 39 cm.

Mouse settings

Snax plays CS2 at 400 DPI with an in-game sensitivity of 1.8. That makes 720 eDPI and 57.7 cm/360, so a full turn takes 57.7 cm of mouse travel.

His polling rate is 4000 Hz, the highest option the FK2-DW lists. The zoom sensitivity of 0.93 is set separately from the main value.

Should you buy Snax's mouse?

The ZOWIE FK2-DW Black is wireless and weighs 65 g. It measures 12.5 cm long, 6.5 cm wide and 3.6 cm high. Of the three mice compared here, it is the narrowest and the lowest, and also the heaviest. It suits players who want a low, narrow shape and are fine with a little more weight. The sensor is the PAW3950, the switches are Huano, and button force is 82.5 g.

Two alternatives trade off differently:

• Pulsar ZywOo The Chosen Mouse Gen.2: 3 g lighter, 0.6 cm shorter, 0.2 cm wider and 0.8 cm taller. It has an XS-1 sensor, optical switches and an 8000 Hz polling rate.
• Pulsar X3 Black: 10 g lighter, 0.1 cm shorter, 0.4 cm wider and 0.7 cm taller. It is wireless with an XS-1 sensor, Kailh GO switches and polling up to 8000 Hz.

Both are lighter and taller than the FK2-DW, and both are wider. In return they offer higher polling ceilings.
