The alternatives trade off weight and width:
- ZOWIE EC2-DW Black: 3 g lighter, 0.65 cm shorter and 0.37 cm wider, with the same height. Six pros are using it now.
- ZOWIE EC1-DW Black: the same 63 g and the same height, 0.05 cm shorter but 0.77 cm wider. Choose it for a wider body at identical weight. One pro is using it now.
- Pulsar Xlite V2 Wireless: 4 g lighter, 0.71 cm shorter, 0.21 cm narrower and 0.05 cm taller. It is the lightest and narrowest of the three, but its polling rate tops out at 1000 Hz, while the Deathadder and both ZOWIEs reach 4000 Hz. One pro is using it now.
The Deathadder is narrower than both ZOWIE models. For a similar footprint with less width, the Xlite V2 is the closest option.
