What Mouse Does molodoy Use?

The history covers 10 periods, 9 switches and 8 different models since April 2025. Few mice stayed long. The longest single period is the ZOWIE EC2-DW Black, from May 2026 to September 2026, at 3.9 months.

Two models have been used twice. The Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2 White adds up to 3.0 months across its two periods. The ZOWIE U2-DW Glossy adds up to 1.2 months, and the current period is only about 6 days old.

The latest switch came on October 16, 2026, from the ZOWIE EC3-EW (Unreleased), which he used for 1.3 months. The U2-DW Black also appears in the history, from December 2025 to February 2026 (2.2 months), between the two Glossy periods' era and the Logitech G Pro X2 SUPERSTRIKE.

Mousepad

molodoy plays on the ZOWIE G-SR III, in use since September 2026. It is a cloth pad with Control glide, firm foam, and high static and dynamic friction. In practice that means a slower, more stoppable surface rather than a fast one.

The pad measures 47 x 39 cm and is 3.5 mm thick, so there is room for low-sensitivity sweeps. The G-SR III is not new to him. He used it from September 2025 to November 2025 and again in February 2026, and the G-SR-SE Orange came directly before the current stint.

Mouse settings

The setup is 400 DPI at 2.2 in-game sensitivity, which gives 880 eDPI and 47.2 cm/360. A full turn takes a long, deliberate arm-length swipe across the pad, not a flick.

Polling is set to 1000 Hz, although the U2-DW Glossy supports up to 4000 Hz. Zoom sensitivity is 1.

Should you buy molodoy's mouse?

The U2-DW Glossy is wireless and ambidextrous, so its shape is not tied to a left- or right-handed layout. It measures 12.3 cm long, 5.8 cm wide and 3.8 cm high, and weighs 60 g. The PAW3950 sensor supports polling rates up to 4000 Hz. This is a fairly compact, low profile mouse that suits people who want a light, symmetrical shape.

The alternatives trade off weight and size:

• ZOWIE U2-DW Black: the same weight, length, width and height, and the same specs. Three pros use it now.
• Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2 Black: 1 g lighter, 0.12 cm longer, 0.26 cm wider and 0.16 cm taller. It has a HERO 25K sensor and LIGHTFORCE Hybrid switches. Ten pros use it now.
• Logitech G Pro X Superlight Black: 2 g heavier, 0.12 cm longer, 0.26 cm wider and 0.16 cm taller. It has a HERO sensor and Omron switches. Five pros use it now.

Both Logitech options are larger in every dimension. The U2-DW Black is the choice if you want an identical mouse.
