What Mouse Does D0cC Use?

D0cC's mouse history

The history covers 17 periods, 16 switches and 11 different models. The current mouse is one he already used before, from November 2023 to February 2024, for 3.8 months in that earlier period.

Four models are ones he came back to: the Razer Deathadder V3 Pro, the ZOWIE EC2 RED V2, the VAXEE OUTSET AX Wireless and the ZOWIE EC2-DW. The EC2 RED V2 is the clearest case. It fills four separate periods, 8.2 months in total, and he went back to it three times.

His longest single period was the VAXEE E1 Wireless Red, 6.5 months from October 2024 to May 2025. Most other periods run between 1 and 5 months, and the shortest, the EC2 RED V2 in early 2023, lasted about 9 days.

Two families dominate the list. ZOWIE and VAXEE models appear repeatedly, with Razer in between: the DeathAdder V3 Pro, the DeathAdder V4 Pro and the Viper V3 Pro Dragon Lore Edition. The Logitech G Pro X Superlight shows up once, for 1.1 months.

Mousepad

D0cC plays on the VAXEE PA ZYGEN, a cloth pad with a control glide. The numbers point the same way: high static friction and low dynamic friction. It takes some force to start moving, then the mouse slides with little resistance.

The pad is 3.5 mm thick with a firm foam base and no stitched edges. The glide difference between the X and Y axes is 14.8%. The ZYGEN was also his first pad in the history, from September 2022 to January 2023. He has used it again since August 2026, alongside the current mouse.

Mouse settings

D0cC runs 400 DPI with 1.4 in-game sensitivity, an eDPI of 560. That works out to 74.2 cm/360, so a full turn takes about 74 cm of mouse travel. That is a low-sensitivity setup that needs a lot of pad, and the 47 x 39 cm surface gives it room.

The mouse is set to 1000 Hz, although it supports polling rates up to 4000 Hz. Zoom sensitivity is 1 and Windows sensitivity is 6.

Should you buy D0cC's mouse?

The OUTSET AX Wireless Black is an ergonomic wireless mouse that is on sale. It suits players who want a shape of moderate length, 11.63 cm, and a narrow body, 5.94 cm wide, at 73 g. At 4.27 cm it is the tallest of the models compared here.

The alternatives trade off weight, size and connection:

• VAXEE OUTSET AX Yellow: the same length and width, 3 g heavier and 0.07 cm lower. It is wired, with a PMW 3389 sensor and polling up to 1000 Hz.
• ZOWIE EC3-C: 3 g lighter, 0.29 cm longer and 0.24 cm lower. It is the lightest of the four, and it is wired.
• ZOWIE EC2-CW: wireless like his mouse, but 4 g heavier, 0.67 cm longer and 0.16 cm wider. It is the largest of the four.

Staying wireless at a similar size means the EC2-CW, with a longer, wider body. The wired Yellow keeps the exact footprint of the current model. The EC3-C is the pick for a lighter, lower, slightly longer shell. Only the current model lists polling up to 4000 Hz, and it has the lowest button force listed among the models here.
