valyn plays on the Logitech G740, according to the Champions 2026 gear roundup dated 2026-09-21. He has used it since March 2025. Before it came the Logitech G640 Original (September 2022 to March 2024) and the Logitech G640 Black (March 2024 to March 2025).

The G740 is a cloth pad with stitched edges. It measures 46 x 37.5 cm and is 5 mm thick. Its overall glide is rated control-oriented, with high static friction and medium dynamic friction. The foam is firm.

In practice, high static friction means the mouse needs a little more effort to start moving, and medium dynamic friction means it does not slide freely once moving. The glide difference between the X and Y axes is -4.90%.
