What Mouse Does Selly Use?

Selly's mouse history

Selly's history is short: two models, two periods, one switch. He has not returned to any earlier model.

The ZOWIE ZA13-C lasted 5.3 months, from January 2023 to June 2023. In June 2023 he moved to the Logitech G Pro X Superlight Black and has used it since.

The Superlight is his longest-used mouse. The ZA13-C is his longest earlier period.

Mousepad

Selly uses the ZOWIE G-SR-SE Blue, a cloth pad measuring 45 x 40 cm. He has used it since January 2023, the same month the ZA13-C period began, so it has stayed under both mice.

The glide numbers describe a pad with a distinct feel. Overall glide is medium, static friction is high and dynamic friction is low. The foam is firm and the thickness is 3.5 mm. The edges are not stitched.

Mouse settings

In Apex Legends Selly runs 800 DPI at 1.3 in-game sensitivity, which gives an eDPI of 1040. That works out to 40.0 cm/360, so a full turn takes 40 cm of mouse travel.

The ADS sensitivity multiplier is 1.0 and per-optic ADS sensitivity is off. Acceleration is off. Polling is 1000 Hz, one of the rates the Superlight offers. 800 DPI sits well inside its 100-25600 DPI range.

Should you buy Selly's mouse?

The Logitech G Pro X Superlight Black is available to buy. It is a wireless ambidextrous mouse with a HERO sensor and Omron switches. It measures 12.42 cm long, 6.06 cm wide and 3.96 cm high, and weighs 62 g. It suits players who want a symmetrical shape at this size and weight, without a cable.

The alternatives trade off weight, dimensions and internals:

• Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2 Black: 3 g lighter, with the same length, width and height. It is the lightest mouse in this comparison. It moves to a LIGHTFORCE Hybrid switch with 98.4 g button force and polling up to 2000 Hz. 21 pros use it now.
• Logitech G Pro X2 SUPERSTRIKE Lunar Eclipse: 1 g lighter, 0.62 cm shorter, 0.14 cm wider and 0.06 cm lower. It is the shortest mouse in this comparison. It offers Logitech HITS switches and polling up to 8000 Hz. 40 pros use it now.
• ZOWIE U2-DW Black: 2 g lighter, 0.12 cm shorter, 0.26 cm narrower and 0.16 cm lower. It is the narrowest and lowest mouse in this comparison. It uses Huano switches and polling up to 4000 Hz. 6 pros use it now.

Anyone who wants Selly's exact shape should stay with the original Superlight. The Superlight 2 keeps the dimensions and trims weight. The U2-DW is the pick for a narrower, lower body.
