What Mouse Does pgod Use?

Mousepad

pgod plays on the ESPTIGER LongTeng, a cloth pad with stitched edges. He has used it since January 2023, the same month he started on his current mouse.

The surface is cloth and the pad is 4 mm thick. The stitched edges mean the border is finished rather than left to fray over time.

Mouse settings

pgod runs Fortnite at 800 DPI with the polling rate at 1000 Hz. That is the highest rate his mouse offers; its options are 125, 250, 500 and 1000 Hz.

X and Y sensitivity are identical at 8.0%, so horizontal and vertical movement scale the same.

Targeting (45%) and scope (43%) are multipliers applied on top of the X/Y value, not separate speeds. Both are below 100%, so aiming down sights and scoping run slower than the base sensitivity. Scope is set slightly lower than targeting.

Should you buy pgod's mouse?

The Logitech G Pro X Superlight Black is an ambidextrous wireless mouse, 12.42 cm long, 6.06 cm wide and 3.96 cm high, weighing 62 g. It has Omron button switches with a 65 g button force. It suits players who want a low-weight wireless mouse with a symmetrical shape.

The alternatives trade off weight, size and switch type:

• Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2 Black is 3 g lighter, with the same length, width and height. It has a HERO 25K sensor and LIGHTFORCE Hybrid switches, and polling goes up to 2000 Hz. 21 pros use it now.
• Logitech G Pro X2 SUPERSTRIKE Lunar Eclipse is 1 g lighter, 0.62 cm shorter, 0.14 cm wider and 0.06 cm lower. It has Logitech HITS switches and polling up to 8000 Hz. 40 pros use it now.
• ZOWIE U2-DW Black is 2 g lighter, 0.12 cm shorter, 0.26 cm narrower and 0.16 cm lower. It has a PAW3950 sensor, Huano switches and polling up to 4000 Hz. 6 pros use it now.

Of the three, the Superlight 2 is the one that keeps his mouse's exact dimensions. The ZOWIE U2-DW is the narrowest and lowest in this group, and the SUPERSTRIKE is the shortest.
