What Mouse Does marteen Use?

marteen's mouse history

The history covers 7 periods and 6 switches, starting in February 2024. The Superstrike is the newest entry and has been in use for 1.4 months.

The longest single stint is the Logitech G Pro X Superlight Magenta, at 11.2 months (February 2024 to January 2025). The shortest is the Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2c Pink, at about 21 days in February 2026.

Every model in the timeline is a Logitech except one. The Razer Viper V3 Pro White ran from April 2025 to August 2025 (4.6 months) and sits between the Superlight 2 Dex White (2.3 months) and the Superlight 2 Black (5.3 months).

The Superlight 2 Magenta then ran 6.5 months, from February 2026 until the move to the Superstrike in September 2026.

Mousepad

marteen's current pad is the Pulsar eS Jupiter Pro, in use since July 2026 (3.2 months). It is a stitched-edge cloth pad rated Control for overall glide. Static and dynamic friction are both Very High, so the surface is built for stopping power rather than speed.

The X/Y glide difference is 9.2%, so horizontal and vertical movement feel slightly different. At 4mm thick, it is a fairly low-profile pad.

He has gone through eight pads since February 2024. The longest stays were the Logitech G640 Black (10.8 months) and the Artisan Type-99 Matcha (9.1 months). Immediately before the current pad came the Pulsar x LGG Jupiter, used for 4.3 months.

Mouse settings

marteen plays VALORANT at 1600 DPI with an in-game sensitivity of 0.06, which gives an eDPI of 96.00 and 136.1 cm/360. That is a low-sensitivity setup that needs plenty of physical travel for a full turn.

Scoped sensitivity is 1.7 and ADS sensitivity is 1. The mouse reports at 1000 Hz, although the Superstrike supports polling up to 8000 Hz.

Should you buy marteen's mouse?

The Superstrike is available to buy. It is a wireless ambidextrous mouse with a symmetrical body, 11.8cm long, 6.2cm wide and 3.9cm tall, weighing 61g. That suits players who want a mid-height, symmetrical shape and do not need ergonomic contouring.

The alternatives keep the same footprint or trade weight for other features:

• Logitech G Pro X3 SUPERSTRIKE Magenta Eclipse and Midnight Black: same length, width and height, and 2 g lighter. Both use the same HERO 2 sensor and Logitech HITS switches. DPI steps are 100 instead of 50. One pro uses each of them now.
• Pulsar Susanto-X: same length, width and height, and 11 g lighter. It uses optical switches and polls at 8000 Hz. Two pros use it now.

Buyers who want the Logitech shape and switches with a little less weight should look at the X3 versions. Anyone who wants the biggest weight reduction in the same dimensions should look at the Susanto-X.
