hiro's history has 10 periods, 9 switches and 7 different models. It starts in July 2024 and is anything but static.

The longest period was the Razer Viper V3 Pro Black, from September 2024 to July 2025: 9.9 months. He later returned to the Viper V3 Pro, and its total time comes to 14.0 months (1.2 years).

Three models were revisited: the Razer Viper V3 Pro, the Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2 and the Razer Viper V4 Pro. The Superlight 2 had two short stints, 2.8 months in total. The Viper V4 Pro, in Black and then White, adds up to 6.8 months.

Some models were only brief tries. The Logitech G Pro X Superlight Black lasted about 6 days in July 2024, and the Pulsar X2N Crazylight Medium about 18 days in March 2026.

The latest switch took him from the Razer Viper V4 Pro White (April to September 2026, 5.6 months) to the Logitech G Pro X2 SUPERSTRIKE Lunar Eclipse, which he has used since September 2026.

Mousepad

hiro uses the Artisan Ninja FX Zero Soft Black, a cloth pad with stitched edges. He has used it since July 2025. Before it came the Artisan Type-99 Gray, and before that the Artisan Ninja FX Zero Soft Orange.

The overall glide is rated Control-Oriented, so the surface favours stopping control over raw slide. The X/Y glide difference is 11.2%, which means horizontal and vertical glide are close but not identical.

Mouse settings

In VALORANT, hiro runs 1600 DPI with 0.12 sensitivity. That works out to 192.00 eDPI and 68.0 cm/360.

Polling is set to 4000 Hz. The SUPERSTRIKE supports rates from 125 Hz up to 8000 Hz, so 4000 Hz sits one step below its maximum. Scoped and ADS sensitivity are both 1, Windows sensitivity is 6, and Raw Input Buffer is on.

Should you buy hiro's mouse?

The Logitech G Pro X2 SUPERSTRIKE is available to buy. It is a wireless, ambidextrous mouse weighing 61 g, 11.8 cm long, 6.2 cm wide and 3.9 cm high. That shape suits players who want a low, symmetrical body with no ergonomic hump or side-specific contour. The HERO 2 sensor and Logitech HITS button switches come with it.

The alternatives share its footprint and trade off weight and switches:

• Logitech G Pro X3 SUPERSTRIKE Magenta Eclipse and Midnight Black: 2 g lighter, with the same length, width and height. The DPI step is 100 instead of 50, and the switches are also Logitech HITS.
