What Mouse Does Eggster Use?

Eggster's mouse history

The history has 7 periods, 6 switches and 5 different models. Two stand out: a long first stint and a restless 2026.

His longest period is the Logitech G Pro X Superlight Black, from January 2024 to August 2025: 19.3 months (1.6 years). The Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2 Black followed for 4.6 months.

From January 2026 the pattern changes. He moved to the Lamzu Maya X Pink for 1.6 months, tried the Lamzu Thorn Black for about 18 days, and went back to the Maya X Pink for 3.9 months. In July 2026 he used the Thorn Black again for about 3 days, then moved to the Lamzu Thorn V2.

He has returned to two models: the Lamzu Maya X, with 5.5 months in total across two periods, and the Lamzu Thorn, with about 21 days in total across two periods. The Thorn V2 has been his mouse since July 2026, and the switch from the Thorn Black to the Thorn V2 dates to 20 July 2026.

Mousepad

Eggster plays on the Lamzu Maya Cloth Mousepad, in use since April 2026. It is a cloth pad measuring 49 cm by 42 cm, 3 mm thick, with stitched edges.

A Lamzu Indonesia TikTok from around March 2026 shows the Maya Clothpad alongside the Maya X. The pad is from the same maker as the mouse he used at that time and as his current one.

Before it he used the Artisan Type-99 Matcha, the Artisan Ninja FX Zero Soft Black and, earlier still, the HyperX Fury S Pro XL.

Mouse settings

In VALORANT he runs 1600 DPI at 0.15 sensitivity, an eDPI of 240. That works out to 54.4 cm per 360°. Scoped and ADS sensitivity are both set to 1.

The in-game polling rate is listed at 1000 Hz, while the Thorn V2 is specced for 8000 Hz. Windows sensitivity is 6 and Raw Input Buffer is on.

Should you buy Eggster's mouse?

The Lamzu Thorn V2 is a wireless ergonomic mouse at 55 g, 12.4 cm long, 6.6 cm wide and 4.2 cm tall. It has optical switches and an 8000 Hz polling rate. It suits players who want an ergonomic shape at this weight and size.

The alternatives trade off as follows:

• Razer DeathAdder V3 HyperSpeed: the same 55 g, so the lightest tie in this group. It is 0.2 cm shorter, 0.2 cm narrower and 0.1 cm lower, and its listed polling rates are 125, 500 and 1000 Hz. 3 pros use it now.
• ZOWIE EC2-DW Black: 5 g heavier, 0.1 cm shorter and 0.1 cm narrower, with the same height. 6 pros use it now.
• Razer DeathAdder V4 Pro Black: 1 g heavier, 0.4 cm longer, 0.2 cm wider and 0.2 cm taller, with the same 8000 Hz polling rate. It is the largest of the three. 7 pros use it now.

For a similar footprint, the DeathAdder V3 HyperSpeed and the EC2-DW are slightly smaller. The DeathAdder V4 Pro Black is the one to look at if you want more length, width and height.
