What Mouse Does Kairo Use?

Kairo's mouse history

The Razer Viper V3 Pro White is the anchor of his history: May 2024 to April 2026, 23.4 months (1.9 years). It is his longest period on any mouse.

After that the pace changes. The Lamzu Maya Black lasted 4.6 months, until September 2026. The Lamzu Thorn V2 followed and has been in use for 1.2 months.

That makes three models and two switches. He has not gone back to any earlier mouse.

Mousepad

Kairo plays on the Razer Strider, a hybrid pad with stitched edges. He has used it since May 2024, which is 29.2 months.

The pad has stayed the same through all three mice, so the changes in his setup come from the mouse alone. At 3 mm thick and 45 × 40 cm, it is a mid-sized surface.

Mouse settings

His VALORANT settings work out to 54.4 cm/360 from 800 DPI and 0.3 in-game sensitivity (240 eDPI). Scoped and ADS sensitivity are both 1.

Polling is set to 4000 Hz. The Thorn V2 is listed with up to 8000 Hz, so the setting sits below the mouse's maximum.

Raw Input Buffer is on.

Should you buy Kairo's mouse?

The Thorn V2 is an ergonomic wireless mouse at 55 g, 12.4 cm long, 6.6 cm wide and 4.2 cm high. It has optical switches and a PAW NEXT I sensor with 8000 Hz polling. It is on sale, so you can buy it directly.

Its 6.6 cm width is the main thing to check. If you want something slightly narrower, the alternatives below trade a few millimetres of size and a few grams of weight for other differences.

• ZOWIE EC2-DW Black: 5 g heavier, 0.1 cm shorter, 0.1 cm narrower, same height. Four pros use it now. Polling goes up to 4000 Hz.
• Razer DeathAdder V3 HyperSpeed: same weight, 0.2 cm shorter, 0.2 cm narrower, 0.1 cm lower. Polling tops out at 1000 Hz, so you give up the high polling rates.
• Fnatic x Lamzu Thorn: 3 g lighter, 0.5 cm shorter, 0.1 cm narrower, same height. It is the closest relative of the Thorn V2 and the lightest of the three. Polling goes up to 4000 Hz.
