What Mouse Does Derke Use?

Derke's mouse history

Since September 2022 Derke's history has 10 periods, 9 switches and 7 different models. His longest period is the original Logitech G Pro X Superlight Black, at 15.9 months (1.3 years).

The Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2 is the model he keeps returning to. He came back to it 3 times, and it adds up to 26.3 months (2.2 years) across 4 periods, in Black and White versions.

Some stints were very short: the Razer Viper V3 Pro lasted about 15 days, the Razer Viper V4 Pro about 24 days and the Pulsar X2N Crazylight Medium about 27 days. The Razer DeathAdder V4 Pro ran 4.5 months.

The latest change came in October 2026. He moved from the Superlight 2 White, which he had used for 5.4 months, to the Logitech G Pro X3 SUPERSTRIKE Magenta Eclipse.

Mousepad

Derke plays on the Logitech G640 Original, which he has used since October 2026. It is a cloth pad with stitched edges. It is 3 mm thick and has firm foam.

Glide, static friction and dynamic friction are all rated medium, so the surface sits in the middle on speed and stopping feel.

The G640 runs through his pad history in Original and Black versions. Other pads, such as the SteelSeries QcK Performance Speed and the Kurosun Samurai, filled the gaps between G640 periods.

Mouse settings

Derke runs 400 DPI with 0.74 in-game sensitivity in VALORANT. That gives an eDPI of 296.00 and 44.1 cm per 360. Scoped sensitivity is 1.00.

Polling rate is set to 1000 Hz, although the mouse supports up to 8000 Hz. Windows sensitivity is 6 and Raw Input Buffer is off.

Should you buy Derke's mouse?

The G Pro X3 SUPERSTRIKE is a wireless, ambidextrous mouse. It is 11.8 cm long, 6.2 cm wide and 3.9 cm high, and weighs 59 g. It uses the HERO 2 sensor and Logitech HITS button switches, with polling up to 8000 Hz. It suits players who want a compact, symmetrical shape at a low weight.

The alternatives trade off in small ways:

• Logitech G Pro X2 SUPERSTRIKE Lunar Eclipse: same length, width and height, but 2 g heavier. Its DPI steps are 50 instead of 100. 40 pros use it now.
• Logitech G Pro X3 SUPERSTRIKE Midnight Black: identical specs and weight to Derke's version, so the choice comes down to colour. 3 pros use it now.
• Pulsar Susanto-X: same length, width and height, and 9 g lighter at 50 g. It has optical switches and 8000 Hz polling. 2 pros use it now.

Among these models, the Susanto-X is the lightest. Derke's 59 g mouse is the next lightest, tied with the Midnight Black version.
