What Mouse Does xeus Use?

xeus's mouse history

The timeline starts in November 2024 with the Razer Deathadder V3 Pro Black. It runs through 9 periods, 8 switches and 4 different models.

Three of those models were revisited: the Razer Deathadder V3 Pro, the Razer DeathAdder V4 Pro and the VAXEE E1 Wireless Fluorescent. The V3 Pro and V4 Pro were each returned to 2 times, the VAXEE E1 Wireless Fluorescent once.

The longest period is the Razer DeathAdder V4 Pro White, from July 2025 to July 2026: 12.0 months (1.0 years). The V4 Pro family adds up to 12.5 months (1.0 years) across his earlier periods with it. The V3 Pro family totals 6.2 months.

The VAXEE E1 Wireless Black lasted about 9 days. The Black V4 Pro (April 2025) and the V3 Pro Black (April to May 2025) each lasted about 15 days. The Fluorescent Green VAXEE E1 Wireless had a 3-day stint in April 2025, then a 2.1-month run from May to July 2025.

Since August 2026 he has been back on the DeathAdder V4 Pro, now in Black.

Mousepad

Since July 2026 xeus has used the Pulsar eS Jupiter Pro. Before it he used the ZOWIE G-SR-SE Rouge II.

The Jupiter Pro is a cloth pad with an overall Control glide. Static and dynamic friction are both rated Very High, so the surface is built for stopping power rather than speed. The pad is 4 mm thick and has stitched edges. The X/Y glide difference is 9.2%.

The 49 x 40 cm surface is a flat, firm base for a 56 g wireless mouse.

Mouse settings

In VALORANT xeus runs 400 DPI at 0.4 sensitivity, an eDPI of 160.00. That works out to 81.6 cm/360.

The in-game polling rate is set to 2000 Hz. The DeathAdder V4 Pro supports up to 8000 Hz, so there is headroom beyond what he uses. Windows sensitivity is 6 and Raw Input Buffer is On.

Scoped and ADS sensitivity are both 1.

Should you buy xeus's mouse?

The DeathAdder V4 Pro is a wireless ergonomic mouse. It measures 12.8 cm long, 6.8 cm wide and 4.4 cm high, and weighs 56 g. It is the lightest of the four mice compared here. It suits players who want an ergonomic shape with a low weight and an 8000 Hz polling rate. The Razer Focus Pro 45K sensor covers 100-45000 DPI in steps of 1.

It is on sale now. The alternatives trade weight, size and sensor:

• Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro Faker Edition: the same length, width and height, but 7 g heavier. It tops out at 4000 Hz and uses the Focus Pro 30K sensor.
• Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2 Dex Black: 4 g heavier and 0.2 cm shorter, with the same width and height. It supports polling up to 8000 Hz and uses the HERO 2 sensor.
• ZOWIE EC1-DW Black: 7 g heavier, 0.1 cm longer, 0.1 cm wider and 0.2 cm lower. It is the lowest of the four and polls up to 4000 Hz.

All three alternatives are wireless and ergonomic. Of the four mice, the Superlight 2 is the shortest at 12.6 cm.
