What Mouse Does Wardell Use?

Wardell's mouse history

The history has three mice and two switches. The Logitech G Pro X Superlight Black is by far the longest period: 44.0 months (3.7 years), from September 2022 to May 2026.

After that, things moved quickly. The Razer Viper V4 Pro Black lasted 2.6 months, from May to July 2026. He has used the Pulsar X3 Black since July 2026.

All three models appear once each in the timeline, so the table above is a straight line from one mouse to the next.

Mousepad

Wardell plays on the Pulsar eS Saturn Pro Black, a 50 x 50 cm cloth pad with stitched edges. It is 4 mm thick.

The pad is rated Control for overall glide, with very low static friction and very low dynamic friction. The glide difference between the X and Y axes is 6.72%.

He started on it in July 2026, the same month he moved to the Pulsar X3 Black. Before that he used the Logitech G640 Original (September 2022 to March 2026) and the Artisan Ninja FX Zero Soft Black (March to July 2026).

Mouse settings

At 1600 DPI and 0.127 in-game sensitivity, Wardell's eDPI is 203.20. That works out to 64.3 cm/360, so a full turn takes 64.3 cm of mouse travel.

The mouse is set to 1000 Hz, although the Pulsar X3 Black also offers 2000, 4000 and 8000 Hz. Windows sensitivity is 6 and Raw Input Buffer is on. Scoped sensitivity is 1.15.

Should you buy Wardell's mouse?

The Pulsar X3 Black is available to buy. It is a wireless mouse at 55 g, 12.4 cm long, 6.9 cm wide and 4.3 cm tall. Its XS-1 sensor goes up to 32000 DPI, and polling goes up to 8000 Hz. The buttons use Kailh GO switches.

Against the two alternatives, it is the lightest mouse in the comparison. It is also the widest of the three.

• Pulsar ZywOo The Chosen Mouse Gen.2: 7 g heavier, 0.5 cm shorter, 0.2 cm narrower and 0.1 cm taller. It is the shortest of the three. It also polls up to 8000 Hz and uses optical switches. Choose it if you want a shorter, slightly narrower body and accept a bit more weight.
• ZOWIE FK2-DW Black: 10 g heavier, 0.1 cm longer, 0.4 cm narrower and 0.7 cm lower. It is the narrowest and lowest of the three, with a PAW3950 sensor and polling up to 4000 Hz. Choose it if you want a lower, narrower profile and accept the extra weight.

Dimensions are the main trade-off. The X3 gives up the shorter body of the ZywOo model and the lower, narrower body of the ZOWIE, and in return it is the lightest.
