What Mouse Does Stormen Use?

Stormen's mouse history

Since September 2022 Stormen has used three different mice across three periods, with two switches between them. None of the three models appears twice.

His longest period was on the Logitech G Pro X Superlight Black: 19.0 months (1.6 years), from September 2022 to April 2024. The Razer Deathadder V3 Pro Black followed for 17.8 months (1.5 years).

The Lamzu Maya X Black has been his mouse since October 2025. The two earlier periods are close in length, so the switches came at fairly even intervals.

Mousepad

Stormen uses the Xraypad Aqua Control II Black, which he has played on since April 2025. Before it he used the SteelSeries QcK XXL, from September 2022 to April 2025.

The Xraypad is a cloth pad measuring 45 x 40 cm and 4 mm thick, with stitched edges. Both static and dynamic friction are rated Very Low, so the surface is built for speed rather than braking.

Mouse settings

In Apex Legends Stormen runs 1600 DPI at 0.65 in-game sensitivity. That gives an eDPI of 1040 and 40.0 cm/360, so a full turn takes 40 cm of mouse travel.

The ADS sensitivity multiplier is 1.0 and per-optic ADS sensitivity is off. Acceleration is off.

The in-game polling rate is 1000 Hz, although the Maya X supports up to 8000 Hz.

Should you buy Stormen's mouse?

The Lamzu Maya X Black is an ambidextrous wireless mouse. It is 12.4 cm long, 5.7 cm wide and 4.0 cm high, and weighs 47 g. It has a PAW3950 sensor and optical switches. It suits players who want a light, narrow ambidextrous shape and a low-profile wireless mouse. It is available to buy.

Among the models compared here, it is the narrowest, tied with the Champion Edition. It is the second lightest. It is also slightly taller than the alternatives that undercut its height.

Alternatives and what they trade off:

• Lamzu Maya X Champion Edition Purple Shadow: the same weight, length, width and height. It is the same shape in a different edition.
• Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2 Black: 12 g heavier and 0.36 cm wider, with the same length and height. It uses a HERO 25K sensor and LIGHTFORCE Hybrid switches. 21 pros use it now.
• FinalMouse Starlight X Nightfall: 9 g lighter, 0.2 cm wider and 0.1 cm lower, with the same length. It polls at 8000 Hz and uses Huano switches. It is the lightest and lowest of the four.
