Should you buy Rarga's mouse?
The Finalmouse Ultralight X Frostlord Medium is wireless, weighs 36 g and measures 12.13 × 5.68 × 3.71 cm. The shape is ambidextrous and symmetrical, so it suits players who want a low-weight mouse without a left- or right-handed contour. Medium-sized hands are the natural fit for this size, and the Large version below suits bigger ones. It uses optical switches and the Finalsensor, and can be bought.
The alternatives trade off as follows:
- Finalmouse Ultralight X Medium: the same weight and dimensions, and the same Finalsensor with optical switches.
- FinalMouse UltralightX Competition: 1 g lighter, with the same length, width and height. It uses a PMW 3395 sensor and Huano switches instead.
- Finalmouse Ultralight X Large: 1 g heavier, 0.47 cm longer, 0.22 cm wider and 0.09 cm taller. It is the pick for a bigger shape with the same sensor and switches.
By weight, the Competition is the lightest of these four at 35 g. Rarga's mouse and the Ultralight X Medium tie for second at 36 g. They are also tied as the narrowest at 5.68 cm.
