What Mouse Does Pulga Use?

Pulga's mouse history

Three mice in the history, two switches, and no model used twice. Each device had a single period.

The GX Gaming Maurus M came first and lasted 7.6 months, from September 2022 to May 2023. The FinalMouse Starlight-12 followed for 9.0 months, until January 2024. That is the longest of his earlier periods.

Since January 2024 he has used the Finalmouse Ultralight 2. It is his longest-used mouse.

Mousepad

The pad is the Artisan Hayate Otsu V2 XSoft Black, a cloth pad with stitched edges. It measures 49 x 42 cm and is 4 mm thick.

He has used it since May 2023. Before that he used The Mousepad Company Strata Bold 03, from September 2022 to May 2023. The pad changed in the same month as the mouse, when he moved from the GX Gaming Maurus M to the Starlight-12. The Artisan has stayed under both the Starlight-12 and the Ultralight 2.

Mouse settings

In Fortnite the X and Y sensitivity are identical at 14.0%, so horizontal and vertical movement run at the same speed. The DPI is 3200.

Targeting and Scope sensitivity are both 100.0%. These are multipliers of the X/Y value, so aiming down sights or through a scope runs at the same speed as hip movement.

Should you buy Pulga's mouse?

The Ultralight 2 is a wired, ambidextrous mouse. It is 11.6 cm long, 5.3 cm wide and 3.7 cm tall, and weighs 53 g. Among the mice compared here it is the lightest, the shortest, the narrowest and the lowest. Its height is tied with both VAXEE models. It suits players who want a small, low, light symmetrical shape.

The alternatives trade size and weight for other features:

• Razer Viper Mini: wired and ambidextrous like his mouse. It is 8 g heavier, 0.23 cm longer, 0.08 cm wider and 0.13 cm taller. It uses Razer Optical switches and offers 125, 500 or 1000 Hz polling. Two pros use it now.
• VAXEE NP-01S V3 Deep Purple: wireless, with polling up to 8000 Hz. It is 4 g heavier, 0.2 cm longer and 0.4 cm wider, and the same height. Two pros use it now.
• VAXEE ZYGEN NP-01S V2 Wireless Red: wireless, with polling up to 4000 Hz. It is 3 g heavier, 0.2 cm longer and 0.4 cm wider, and the same height. One pro uses it now.

Choose the Viper Mini for a similar wired layout with a slightly larger body. Choose a VAXEE if you want wireless and higher polling rates, and can accept a wider shell.
