What Mouse Does Laz Use?

Laz's mouse history

Laz's history covers 7 periods on 7 different models, with 6 switches between them. He has not gone back to any earlier model.

The longest earlier period is the VAXEE ZYGEN NP-01S Wireless Black, from July 2023 to March 2025: 19.9 months (1.7 years). Every other earlier mouse lasted 5.7 months or less.

The start of the timeline moves fast. The VAXEE ZYGEN NP-01 White lasted about 12 days in September 2022, and the ZOWIE FK1-C followed for 2.0 months. After that the list is almost entirely VAXEE. The one exception is the Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2 Dex Black, used for 5.4 months until August 2025.

The VAXEE NP-01S Ergo Blue has been his mouse since August 2025.

Mousepad

Laz plays on the VAXEE PD150, a cloth pad without stitched edges, since May 2025.

The pad history shows seven pads since September 2022. The VAXEE PB Black, used before the PD150, ran from June 2024 to May 2025 (11.3 months).

Mouse settings

Laz runs 1600 DPI at 0.136 in-game sensitivity in VALORANT, which works out to an eDPI of 217.60 and 60.0 cm/360.

Scoped and ADS sensitivity are both 0.75. The polling rate is set to 4000 Hz, the top option the NP-01S Ergo offers. Windows sensitivity is 6 and Raw Input Buffer is on.

Should you buy Laz's mouse?

The NP-01S Ergo Blue is an ergonomic wireless mouse. It weighs 59 g and measures 11.8 cm long, 6.3 cm wide and 3.8 cm high. Among the devices compared here it is the shortest and the lowest. It suits players who want a compact ergonomic shape and a 4000 Hz polling option.

The alternatives trade off differently:

• VAXEE NP-01 Ergo Purple (Unreleased): 1 g lighter, 0.2 cm longer, 0.2 cm wider and 0.1 cm taller. Its polling rate goes up to 8000 Hz. The model is marked as unreleased. One pro currently uses it.
• Razer DeathAdder V3 HyperSpeed: 4 g lighter, 0.4 cm longer, 0.1 cm wider and 0.3 cm taller. It uses Razer Optical switches and tops out at 1000 Hz polling. Three pros currently use it.
• Glorious Model D- Wireless White: 8 g heavier, 0.2 cm longer, 0.2 cm narrower and 0.2 cm taller. It also tops out at 1000 Hz. One pro currently uses it.

The DeathAdder V3 HyperSpeed is the lightest of the group. If you want a narrower body than the Ergo, only the Glorious Model D- is narrower, at 6.1 cm.
