What Mouse Does Keiko Use?

Six mice since February 2024, which means five switches. Every model appears exactly once, and he has not gone back to any of them.

The longest stint is the Lamzu Thorn Black at 11.2 months, his first mouse in the timeline. The Razer Viper Mini Signature Edition followed for about 9 days, the shortest period of the six.

From February 2025 every mouse is a WLMouse. The BEAST X Silver ran 10.3 months. Then came three shorter periods: the Beast X Max Tempered (2.3 months), the Beast X Tempered (1.6 months) and the current Beast X Max Black (6.3 months, still running).

Mousepad

The Artisan FX Hien Mid Black is the pad he started the timeline on in February 2024 and the one he is on now, since August 2026. It is a cloth pad with stitched edges, 49 cm by 42 cm and 4 mm thick, so there is plenty of room for a 65.3 cm/360 sensitivity.

In between, he has tried other Artisan pads: the Key-83 XSoft, Hayate Otsu V2 Mid Wine Red, Raiden FX Soft Orange and Raiden FX Mid. He also tried the FX Hien in XSoft Wine Red and Soft Wine Red. Most of these runs were short, and the Hien Mid Black keeps coming back after them.

Mouse settings

His VALORANT setup is 800 DPI at 0.25 sensitivity, which gives 65.3 cm/360. That is a low sensitivity, and it is the reason the large 49 x 42 cm pad matters.

The mouse is set to 1000 Hz even though the Beast X Max Black supports polling rates up to 8000 Hz. Raw Input Buffer is off.

Should you buy Keiko's mouse?

The Beast X Max Black is on sale and can be bought. It is an ambidextrous wireless mouse, 12.6 cm long, 6.5 cm wide and 3.9 cm tall. At 42 g, weight is its main selling point. It uses a PAW3950 sensor and optical switches, with polling up to 8000 Hz. It suits players who want a symmetrical shape with a very low weight.

Alternatives trade weight for other features:

• WLMouse x DRG Beast X Max Green: same weight, length, width and height as the Black. Currently used by 1 pro.
• Razer Viper V4 Pro White: 7 g heavier, 0.1 cm longer, 0.1 cm narrower and 0.1 cm taller. It has a Focus Pro 30K sensor and Razer Optical Gen-4 switches, and is currently used by 7 pros.
• ASUS ROG Harpe Ace Extreme: 5 g heavier, 0.1 cm longer, 0.1 cm narrower and the same height. It has a ROG AimPoint sensor and optical switches, and is currently used by 1 pro.

If the exact size and 42 g weight matter most, the Green version is the closest match. The other two give up a few grams for a different sensor and switch.
