Why f0rsakeN chose the Pulsar Susanto-X, in f0rsakeN's words
The Susanto-X is not an off-the-shelf pick. f0rsakeN co-developed it with Pulsar and his brother Xccurate, and it debuted at the VCT Pacific Stage 2 Finals in Tokyo. Pulsar's launch post is dated August 30, 2025.
We refined a classic shape by making it smaller for a more comfortable grip.Jason "f0rsakeN" Susanto, Paper Rex player, co-developer of the mouse, Pulsar Susanto-X Gaming Mouse Review - Esports Collab Mouse to Buy (VALO2ASIA), October 2, 2025
In the same Pulsar release he also points to the clicks. Those two things, a smaller classic shape and the click feel, are the reasons he gives for the move from the Lamzu Maya X White.
VALO2ASIA reports he used the mouse on stage in Tokyo and Paris. Pulsar's own post of October 13, 2025 calls it the mouse behind his 2025 VCT Pacific win and Champs Paris Top 4.
Pulsar Pro Series Susanto-X vs the standard model
The Pulsar Pro Series Susanto-X is the signature version, co-developed with f0rsakeN and Xccurate. According to a Japanese Valorant news report, it is built on a slimmer, more compact take on Pulsar's X2 shape.
The differences are mostly cosmetic and tactile: a black-and-pink colorway, an S-shaped scroll wheel and the brothers' signatures on the shell.
A Japanese news report also says a Susanto-X 2.0 Phantom Jungle, co-developed with f0rsakeN and Xccurate and offered in Medium and Large, went on sale in Japan on September 29, 2026. It is limited to 2,000 units worldwide.
f0rsakeN's mouse history
The timeline shows five switches across six periods. The Susanto-X is the longest single period at 13.7 months (1.1 years), just ahead of the Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2 Black at 13.0 months (1.1 years).
The Logitech G Pro X Superlight Black opened the timeline in September 2022 and lasted 12.2 months (1.0 years). The Superlight 2 followed in September 2023.
The only back-and-forth is in late 2024. He left the Lamzu Maya X White after about 27 days, spent about 15 days on the Endgame Gear OP1 8k White, then returned to the Maya X. That second stint ran 9.2 months, for 10.1 months in total on that model.
The move to the Susanto-X in September 2025 is the latest switch.

Should you buy f0rsakeN's mouse?
The Susanto-X is on sale and can be bought. It suits anyone who wants a small ambidextrous shape at 11.8 cm long and 6.2 cm wide. At 50 g and with 8000 Hz polling, it is built for low weight and high-speed wireless play. Its optical switches are the other defining spec.
The alternatives trade weight for a different feature set. The Logitech G Pro X2 SUPERSTRIKE Lunar Eclipse is 11 g heavier. The Logitech G Pro X3 SUPERSTRIKE in Magenta Eclipse and Midnight Black is 9 g heavier. All three match the Susanto-X on length, width and height. They use Logitech HITS switches and the HERO 2 sensor instead of optical switches.
The G Pro X2 SUPERSTRIKE is used by 15 pros right now. The two X3 colorways are used by 1 pro each. Pick the Logitech route if you prefer that switch and sensor setup and can live with the extra grams. Choose the Susanto-X for the lowest weight in the group.
