Cloakzy's history has two mice and one switch. The Razer Viper 8KHz was his longest period at 26.8 months (2.2 years). The Razer Viper Mini followed in December 2024 and has lasted 22.5 months (1.9 years) so far.

He has not returned to either model, so the Viper Mini is the only mouse he has used since the Viper 8KHz.

Mousepad

Cloakzy has played on a SteelSeries QcK XXL since September 2022, a span of 49.3 months. That is longer than either of his mouse periods, so the pad stayed the same through the switch from the Viper 8KHz to the Viper Mini.

Mouse settings

Marvel Rivals is his main game. He runs 800 DPI with 1.3 sensitivity on both axes, which gives an eDPI of 1040.

Apex Legends uses the same eDPI of 1040, reached with 400 DPI and 2.6 in-game sensitivity. That works out to 40.0 cm/360.

Fortnite also uses 400 DPI, with 14.5% on both axes. Call of Duty: Warzone uses 800 DPI with a sensitivity of 5.50, and acceleration, filtering and smoothing are all at 0.

Should you buy Cloakzy's mouse?

The Razer Viper Mini is an ambidextrous wired mouse that weighs 61 g. It measures 11.83 cm long, 5.38 cm wide and 3.83 cm high. It uses the PMW 3359 sensor and Razer Optical switches, and polling goes up to 1000 Hz. It suits players who want a symmetrical shape and a cable instead of a wireless setup.

The alternatives trade the cable for wireless:

• VAXEE NP-01S V3 (Deep Purple or Pink): 4 g lighter, the same length, 0.32 cm wider and 0.13 cm lower. It is ambidextrous, wireless and polls up to 8000 Hz. One pro uses each colorway.
• Logitech G Pro X2 SUPERSTRIKE Lunar Eclipse: the same weight and length, 0.82 cm wider and 0.07 cm taller. It is ambidextrous and wireless, with polling up to 8000 Hz. 15 pros use it now.

The Viper Mini is the closest match to Cloakzy's setup. The VAXEE has a lower profile and the Logitech is the widest of the three.
