What Mouse Does Boaster Use?

Boaster's mouse history

The history has 13 periods, 12 switches and 9 different models. The longest single period is the first one: the Logitech G Pro X Superlight White, from September 2022 to December 2023, at 14.7 months (1.2 years).

The densest stretch runs from February to August 2024. He went through the ZOWIE EC3-CW, the Thorn, the ZOWIE EC2-CW, the Razer Deathadder V3 Pro Black, the Fnatic x Lamzu Maya X 8K and the Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2 White. None of those periods lasted longer than 1.4 months.

He returned to two models. The Maya X 8K had a first period in June 2024 and came back in August 2024 for 5.3 months, 6.3 months in total. The Thorn has three periods and he has returned to it 2 times. It totals 5.5 months, and the current period of 2.6 months is the third.

After the Maya X 8K he settled for longer. The Ninjutso Sora V2 Black ran 6.9 months from January 2025, and the ATK Blazing Sky F1 ran 8.1 months from August 2025. The Sora V2 returned as the Pink version for 3.2 months, which brings the Sora V2 to 10.1 months in total.

The latest switch was from the Ninjutso Sora V2 Pink to the Fnatic x Lamzu Thorn in August 2026.

Mousepad

Boaster plays on the SONY INZONE MAT-F. He first used it in January 2026, moved to the MAT-D in February 2026, and has been back on the MAT-F since April 2026, for 6.5 months so far.

It is a cloth pad with a speed-oriented glide, medium static and dynamic friction, and mid foam firmness. At 6mm thick it is a low-profile surface. The glide difference between the X and Y axes is 14.4%, so horizontal and vertical swipes do not feel identical.

Before the Sony pads, the longest stays were the Fnatic DASH XL at 9.0 months and the Kurosun Samurai at 8.1 months, plus 5.1 months more after he returned to it in August 2025.

Mouse settings

In VALORANT he plays 800 DPI at 0.2 in-game sensitivity. That gives an eDPI of 160 and 81.6 cm/360. A full turn takes 81.6 cm of mouse travel, so this is a low-sensitivity setup that needs a lot of pad space. The 48 x 40 cm MAT-F gives him that room.

Polling is set to 1000 Hz. The Thorn lists rates up to 4000 Hz, so he is not using its top setting. Windows sensitivity is 6 and Raw Input Buffer is on.

Should you buy Boaster's mouse?

The Fnatic x Lamzu Thorn is available to buy. It is a wireless ergonomic mouse with optical switches and a PMW 3395 sensor. At 52g, 11.9cm long, 6.5cm wide and 4.2cm tall, it suits players who want a very light mouse with a full ergonomic shape. Button force is 78g.

The alternatives trade a little weight and length for other features:

• ZOWIE EC2-DW Black: 8 g heavier and 0.4 cm longer, with the same width and height. It uses a PAW3950 sensor and Huano switches. 4 pros use it now.
• Razer DeathAdder V3 HyperSpeed: 3 g heavier, 0.3 cm longer, 0.1 cm narrower and 0.1 cm lower. It has Razer Optical switches and a 66g button force, but polling tops out at 1000 Hz. 1 pro uses it now.
• Lamzu Thorn V2: 3 g heavier, 0.5 cm longer and 0.1 cm wider, with the same height. It has a PAW NEXT I sensor and 8000 Hz polling. 1 pro uses it now.

For the closest match to the Thorn's size, the Razer DeathAdder V3 HyperSpeed is the nearest on width and height. The Thorn V2 is the choice if higher polling matters more than a shorter body.
