What Mouse Does Zayt Use?

Mousepad

Zayt plays on the ZOWIE G-SR-SE Blue, and has since September 2022. It is a cloth pad measuring 45 × 40 cm, 3.5 mm thick, with unstitched edges.

The surface is rated medium for overall glide, with high static friction and low dynamic friction. In practice, the pad takes a little more force to start a movement from standstill, and the mouse then moves freely once it is going. The foam is firm. The glide difference between the X and Y axes is 10.30%.

Mouse settings

In Fortnite, Zayt runs 800 DPI at 1000 Hz. X and Y sensitivity are both 3.3%, so horizontal and vertical movement are identical.

Targeting and Scope sensitivity are both 60.0%. These are multipliers of the X/Y value, not separate speeds. At 60% the mouse moves slower than at base sensitivity while aiming down sights or using a scope.

Should you buy Zayt's mouse?

The FK1+-B Divina Pink is a wired, ambidextrous mouse. It measures 12.8 cm long, 6.2 cm wide and 3.8 cm high, and weighs 86 g. It suits players who want a symmetrical shape. Among the models compared here, its 3.8 cm height ties with the S2 Divina Blue as the lowest. It has a PMW 3360 sensor and Huano switches. Buyers who want a wireless mouse should look elsewhere.

All three alternatives below share the same sensor, 1000 Hz polling rate, Huano switches, wired connection and ambidextrous shape. They differ in weight and dimensions:

• ZOWIE FK1-C: 9 g lighter, and 0.1 cm longer, wider and taller. It is the lightest of the four mice compared and the closest in overall shape.
• ZOWIE S1: 1 g heavier, 0.5 cm shorter, 0.1 cm narrower and 0.2 cm taller. It is the heaviest of the four.
• ZOWIE S2 Divina Blue: 4 g lighter, 0.6 cm shorter and 0.3 cm narrower, at the same height. It is the shortest and narrowest of the four.

Pick the FK1-C for less weight at nearly identical dimensions. Pick the S2 Divina Blue for a more compact body at the same height. The S1 gives a shorter body but is slightly taller and heavier.
