The pad is a Logitech G640 Original, in use since September 2022. That is the same month the Starlight-12 Hades entered his setup, so the two have been paired from the start.

It is a cloth surface with stitched edges. Overall glide is rated medium, with medium static and medium dynamic friction, so the surface sits between speed and control. The foam is firm. At 3 mm thick and 45.5 x 40 cm, it is a large surface for a 47 g mouse.
