Mousepad
The pad is the Fnatic DASH, in use since September 2022, so it has been paired with the same mouse throughout.
It is a hybrid-material pad with an overall glide rated Speed. Static friction is low and dynamic friction is medium, so the surface starts moving easily and then gives a little more control once it is moving. Foam firmness is Firm.
The pad measures 49 x 37 cm, is 3 mm thick and has stitched edges. The X/Y glide difference is 11%, meaning the pad glides slightly differently along the two axes.

Mouse settings
The mouse runs at 400 DPI and 500 Hz. 500 Hz is one of the three polling rates the NP-01 offers (125, 500 and 1000).
X and Y sensitivity are identical at 11.6%, so horizontal and vertical movement run at the same speed.
Targeting and scope sensitivity are both set to 70%. These are multipliers of the X/Y value, not separate speeds, so targeting and scoping run slower than the base X/Y speed.

Should you buy POW3R's mouse?
The NP-01 is available to buy. It is a wired, ambidextrous mouse measuring 11.85 cm long, 5.87 cm wide and 3.87 cm high, at 76 g. It suits players who want a symmetrical shape and are fine with a cable. Among the four mice compared here it is the narrowest. It is also the second shortest, behind the Logitech G Pro X2 SUPERSTRIKE.
The alternatives each trade something away:
- Endgame Gear XM1R: 6 g lighter, 0.25 cm longer, the same width and 0.07 cm lower. It is also wired and ambidextrous, on a PMW 3370 sensor.
- ZOWIE S2 Divina Blue: 6 g heavier, 0.35 cm longer, the same width and 0.07 cm lower. It is also wired and ambidextrous, with a PMW 3360 sensor and Huano button switches, the same switch brand as the NP-01.
- Logitech G Pro X2 SUPERSTRIKE Lunar Eclipse: 15 g lighter, 0.05 cm shorter, 0.33 cm wider and the same height. It is wireless and polls up to 8000 Hz.
For the closest match in width, the XM1R and the S2 Divina Blue are both the same width as the NP-01. The Logitech is the one to look at if you want wireless and the lowest weight of the group.
